Pius XII is a JK to 6 Catholic school serving the community of Minnow Lake in the Greater City of Sudbury. It offers regular English programs, FDK (Full Day Kindergarten), Core French and Care and Development.

Pius XII Catholic Elementary School is a community that nurtures a faith-filled educational experience for all. ‘Everyone succeeds, Everyone counts!’ is our belief that supporting individuality by way of fostering community is at the heart of Catholic education. We had to switch our kids schools due to the principal making our life hell. Our son has needs and behaviors and any slight behavior, sometimes normal kindergarten behavior would result in repeated phone calls home and even suspensions. Sometimes I would even receive phone calls on a sunday to remind me that he was not welcome at school on Monday he was 4. I had to quit my job and hobbies to stay home because of how frequent the phone calls and requests to pick up had gotten. I have heard that this is a regular occurrence with any student that does not fit the mold of a good catholic child. Since switching schools our child has excelled because he now has a supportive and kind group of educators who know what he needs and what to do when he is triggered. As a parent, I highly recommend avoiding this school if your child has behaviors or needs.
You have a child with anxiety, so you exclude him from all class activities, how do you expect a child to bloom if all you do is ridicule him, so sad how teachers don't care anymore
Daily strapping from Mrs.Monica Beland for spelling mistakes, little did she know that I was dyslexic !! Worse than residential school !! Class of 61 62 .
i miss this school so much!! i went there from k-6 and it was amazing. obviously there were some bad things but overall i would recommend this school:
1960s probably not current today. Horrible experiences back then.
I dont go there any more im in 8th grade but i had fun
