SUBWAY®Restaurants

As a long-time Subway afficionado, this is a great location with (at least one) great employee(s), AJ. I only write this review to highlight the difference between this location and the worst Subway ever, about a mile north of here at 2211 WA-530, Arlington, WA. I stopped at the other location at 8:30 pm on Saturday, September 9, 2017 as I was headed back to Seattle from Vancouver and the employee there ignored me and at least 1 other customer before rudely saying that she had already closed (scheduled to close at 9 pm). Very frustrated, I drove to this one, scheduled to close at 10, and braced for another lazy employee telling me either the place was closed way early or that they were out of something. Instead, I met AJ, probably the nicest, funniest, down-to-earth dude who was ASTONISHED that another Subway employee was trying to close their store early at all. He proceeded to make my order and went out of his way to refill the ingredients that I had requested, instead of simply saying that they were out of something (which is common at other locations). Great employees deserve commendation, and bad ones deserve reprimand. I wrote a review for the other location in hopes that the lady at the other place somehow/some day is reprimanded. On the flip side, I just wanted to highlight AJ, who went out of his way to make my night a little better.

One of our favorite places for a quick, delicious dinner! Lots of choices! Good sandwiches!

Walked in and took several minutes for someone to come out to the front to take my order.
