Subway

I decided to go in today for the charity promotion that is going on. Buy a sandwich and a 21oz drink, get the 2nd sandwich free, and Subway will pay for a meal for charity. Very good promotion, so I ordered 2 foot longs and got the drink. However, the cashier told me I needed to buy chips or 2 cookies because it is a part of the promotion. A manager then came along. I pointed out the charity promotion all over the restaurant that clearly states the promotion however the cashier was insistent. During our "discussion," another manager came along and gave me one free cookie. One free cookie on top of the other 2 I paid for? At that point I just paid for it and left because it was not worth my time. Absolutely disgusting that Subway cannot train their staff to understand a simple promotion that is littered in big fonts all over the store. Either that, or they trained them to upsell their customers, all under the false identity of "charity," and frankly I don't know which is worse. And Subway hides under the fact that all subways are franchised, so their response will probably be to "re-evaluate" training protocols or some marketing buzzwords like that. Unacceptable. I hope to hear what their response is.

I usually find most Subways almost identical but this one wasn't as good. I feel like the vegetables weren't as fresh and that the employee wasn't smart making the sandwich, everything was falling out.

Food poisoning every time from their bacon. Do not suggest this location.
