I am never one to write reviews, let alone a bad one. However my disappointment got the best of me. About a week ago, my partner and I showed up around 7:50pm and Subway closes at 8. The doors were locked. The woman inside just looked at me and shook her head as if to say “we’re closed.” I thought to myself “fair enough” as it’s 10 mins before closing. Even though I was disappointed, maybe she had to be somewhere. However, tonight I had a similar experience. I arrived around 7:40pm and saw another couple leave so I knew they’re still open. I walked in and no workers were to be found. I waited a few minutes before saying “hello??” Another minute passed before the same lady I saw last week came out from the back. Before helping me, she went straight to the front door and locked it. It’s about 7:45pm at this point. Again, they close at 8. As she was helping me, she seemed closed off as if I were extremely inconveniencing her. Just overall not very friendly. I left the store and sat in my car and saw an elderly woman and probably her grandson go up to the doors at 7:50pm. Of course the doors were locked. She seemed upset and the worker inside just ignored them. I think it’s a little disappointing to be locking your doors 15 minutes before close. If you want to close at 7:45 that’s fine but then your official hours should be adjusted. I also understand that’s it’s not best practice to show up that close to closing time however that’s what your hours are posted for. And 15 minutes is plenty of time to make 1 or 2 sandwiches. I’ve made a note not to come to this location anymore.
Very generous on toppings. The gal working with braids was super friendly. The orher person male just walked around and didn't acknowledging me at all. Thank you to people like the lady at the Arden Hills Subway who have a great attitude. I appreciate you!
Its Tuesday November 22 nd 2022. At 931pm. Couldn't rate the food. Pulled into the parking lot and he saw I was coming toward him. Went to the door to lock and turned the opensign off it as I pulled up at 930pm. To the front door. They close at 10. I worked in food service for 13 years. You couldn't make one more sandwich. And decided to turn the sign off and lock it because you see me. Not before you see me. That was deliberate, having to rewipe the xounter isn't a good reason. Lazy.
The young gentleman working is incredible! He was in the store all alone during Fri lunch rush and handled what could have been a VERY stressful situation with such poise and grace! Give this man a raise, bonus and his own store!
Ordered two subs online, when I got home I discovered they ere less than half filled with veggies. Most of the ingredients I specified were ignored.
I came in and ordered 3 footlongs & one six inch on July 6th, 6pm. As a former subway worker & frequent subway consumer, I was amazed by the sandwich-making talent of the man who was working. All sandwiches were perfectly constructed, and at incredible speed. Sandwich artist doesn’t even begin to describe the performance; he is the sandwich master. This man deserves a raise.
Hospitable staff. Veggies were fresh. Restaurant was clean.
I have been there a few times and have always had friendly staff and the sandwiches are always yummy. I want to give a shout-out to the two staff that were working Sunday afternoon the 26th of December. The young lad was pretty new but extremely nice and efficient. I hadn’t been there a wile so I was a little bit shocked on the price but he was so nice and explained all the charges and as I walked away I thought the world need more employees like them!!!!! I will always go to that location it’s the best!!!
We were there during lunch rush about 1pm on Saturday 8/11. The young man working there was amazing. Greeted everyone as the entered, made eye contact, confirmed what you wanted back to you, and thanked you for your business or said to have a great rest of your day. He was not at all frazzled by how busy it was. Great job!
The gentleman working today around noon had a line of about 10 people. He did an amazing job, worked fast and efficient, not only was he able to work fast but very clean as well. Definitely earned a tip!
