Sub City

Tried this place for the 1st time recently. Didn't know I could be so impressed by a sub! It was one of the best I've ever had! And great bang for your buck. The price point is similar to subway, with way better quality ingredients and the subs are huge! Staff were very friendly and welcoming. I think I'm going to be a regular here!

I usually rarely visit Sub City. But Friday I didn't feel like cooking so I thought I would get a sandwich from Sub City. I ordered the seafood sub in a tub with the works. And for later I ordered a turkey bacon sub. I'm telling you that my lunch was absolutely tasty! And my turkey bacon sub was so yummy. The people that run this sandwich shop are friendly and accommodating. They really know what they're doing they sure know how to put a sandwich together.nnIf ever you are visiting Waverly Iowa make sure you stop at Sub City and treat yourself to some very very fresh and flavorful sandwiches.

Very big subs , and tasty .nBut I don't recommend doing door dash for your order I did and they never picked it up. And refused to refund me.nI went and picked it up myself and the girls working were sweet.

I just want to say that the three girls that were in there today did an excellent job they had a bunch of people and they had me in and out within 3-4 minutes And three people in front of me and many more behind me. They have a system they stuck to it and they hustled so I just want to say that my service there was excellent they were friendly and very satisfied with the visit. I had a meatball sub the parents could probably use some work but overall I was satisfied with my service

I ordered a sub for the first time from Sub City last week. It was made to order as I requested and fantastic. I was back in Waverly today, and decided to order 2 subs this time, as the one last week was delicious. I ordered both times online via Grub Hub as I was out running errands. I went and picked up my sandwiches and after opening them up, saw that they were not made to order as I requested. For starters, the bread was stale and very dry. Like days old bread. I asked for extra mayo, but did not get that on either sandwich. In fact, one side was completely bare and with this dry stale bread made the sandwich horrible. I also asked for Oil and vinegar and that was omitted from both. On top of that, they did not include the banana peppers either. I spent almost $30 on these sandwiches and we were not happy with either of them. We had to doctor them up once we got home to make them edible. There is no way these are Jersey type subs.
