"We are an independent Indian and Momos restaurant in downtown Oshawa offering fresh pure food. All the kitchen team has more than15 years of experience.Chef Rajan grew up in Nepal and worked 10 years in different Asian countries as a chef in high-end hotels and would like to share his experience with Asian cuisine to the Durham region. Since his arrival in Canada 10 years ago, he opened several restaurants in Scarborough and Whitby. I have to say I just love this place. The food has been fresh and delicious every time and the staff have been lovely as well. I had never had a momo before and they are so good! The naan is exactly how I expect an Indian restaurant to serve it and the chow mein was slightly spicy but so very tasty. The butter chicken was amazing as well. Great new place and a wonderful addition to downtown Oshawa.
Excellent staff. The service has always been good on every visit. The Indian food taste just amazing like back home. On my every visit, I try different variety of foods and they just simply taste good. Make sure to do reservations as at times it get busy. Also the parking lots closeby gets full and you may have to park further up and walk a bit. Overall a great experience!!!!!
This is definitely my go to place for momos. Quantity and the quality of food was at top. Love the food and the hospitality here. Will be back soon to try other items in the menu.

The one great thing about this restaurant is how high the quality is. The curry was made using fresh ingredients and the naan bread was fresh. That make a a world of a difference. On top of this, the presentation and cutlery and design of the restaurant is great. The customer service here is ideal as well and the best part is that all of their meat is halal. One improvement would be the price, it is pretty expensive maybe due to inflation. However if your looking to get Good quality food I recommend this place
First time having momos and these fusion momos were great! I got the chilli veg momos at extra spicy and they were delicious. When they mean extra spicy, it is extra spicy so be warned! Also ordered veggie pakoras which came with a perfectly paired tamarind sauce. Only docking one star because I ordered over the phone and I asked what the veg filling is and the person on the other line told me that he was not sure and it is the “usual” in veg momos. I told him I’ve never had momos so he told me it was cabbage and other veggies. Otherwise, pick up was smooth and food was warm and fresh. I’ll definitely be going back to try the other momos!
2nd time around decided to come in for dining and oh boy, it was a good decision. Tried the Seekh kabab and veg pakora for starters, steamed chicken momos and chow mein - spicy indian style and they were all great. Great value, portion and quality you can imagine with most fresh ingredients. Will certainly recommend for dining as Joy is a such a joy haha to deal with. Very humble and down to earth owner operators.
Was at a nearby place and searched for Momo and Indian Food. Found this place on the search and luckily it was open. Good: Food is very tasty. We had chicken Momo and tandoori chicken Momo. Mist try the tandoori Momo, we could not resist with one plate so ordered another one. Chicken Biryani was also good. Rayta was like home made. Loved it. Ambiance is good. As this is a relatively new restaurant, it's clean as well. Could be better: The chutney or sause was not that great. It felt like something was missing. It has almost no taste. Noodles was thick and the taste was something different. Overall it's a good place to dine in if you are near by.
Hidden Gem excellent food. Me and my wife were going Hamilton from Kingston on hot day wanted to have something really quick with a cold beer and she found this gem. Haven't had such food in a while they are keeping their name high and handsome as we had their Tandoori Momo's and have no words how yummy they were even their Indian dishes taste good. Food was fresh and healthy and restaurant was well maintained with full hygiene. Must go to place if you love East Indian food. Have seen some of them wrote that they don't have options and food is not fresh and so on, guys I can understand you had bad day or and your taste buds need some workout Thanks Street Momo's will surely return when I get chance and also will recommend you. Really liked the place. It’s authentic taste and as I love spicy food, chef was kind to customize for me and the owner made us so comfortable. We had a wonderful time and definitely recommend it. Just to add on please try the tandoori momos. They were awesome , the best we had here in Canada.
