California Thai

I got the Medley one with grilled chicken and corn. I got it at 8pm and I think they gave me all old food. The chicken was so nasty and gross. The noodles was so oily and gross. The corn was so wet and gross. Never eating at this nasty place ever again. I threw away the noodles and chicken it was unedible. Tried half a piece of chicken it was so bad

Spring rolls were nice and fresh. I tried the chilli chicken spicy and it wasn’t my favourite. It was wayyy too sweet but the portion was great.

I love their mapo tofu and breaded fish. The way they cook is a bit inconsistent lately- we always ask for a bit of spice on these dishes but have received it too spicy or no spice at all. I personally don't mind. Otherwise, this place is worth a try just be specific about spicy level if you're particular about that!

Honestly really dissapointed. Had to throw out all the $50 worth of food we bought because we lost our appetite when we saw a dead bug floating in the soup… chicken soup had a dead bug in it! This is really really disappointing! Something that cost almost $15 and then it’s not edible. Also the chicken has literally no flavour it was not edible at all.. it literally was boiled chicken thrown in the soup. It says veggies with it but the veggies are literally 3 pieces of broccoli that’s it the rest is filled with noodles. The fried rice barely had soy sauce in it . The pad Thai was extremely oily like literally covered in oil you couldn’t eat it . The honey chicken was super dry and hard to eat. All and all we will not be coming back . Had to throw out all the food and it’s such a shame. The restaurant is super clean and new and nice looking and the staff are really nice but please work on the food it’s super disappointing. My family all felt sick after eating this food and I’m sure you wouldn’t want that to happen to your own family .

The food was horrible. All the plates had a strong sour taste except for the white rice. It must have been something wrong with the oil they fried the food with. The mango chicken was not sweet but only sour. The shrimp so sour and so salty. The General Tso was sour and not spicy. The chicken in the noodles was sour. Not sure what happened there. One person was working and waited over half an hour for the food to come home and ruin our dinner

One of the worst and tasteless food I have had in a while. I had ordered broccoli and California chicken and fried rice. Everything tasted super bland. The fried rice was rather steamed rice with bits of egg in it. What a rip off. Thai express is much more flavorful and tastier. California Thai felt like some novice person trying to be a chef and make food that is not tasty at all.

This was my first time trying this place and it is my last. The food was disgusting! My pad thai lacked in taste and the noodles were mushy. I took 3 bites and had to throw it away. The lemongrass chicken didn’t look right and had this sandy texture. It also ended up in the garbage. The place was empty when we got in and now I can see that it’s a clear indication of how horrible the food is. $32 down the drain. Thanks California Thai!

Very nice and neat place with awsome Thai and Chinese food. Great value for lunch with friends. Mapo Tofu is a must to order if you like spicy food, which goes very well with some steamed rice. A perfect match that I strongly recommend!

Wow. This is my first google review, so that's something I guess. Stopped by on my way home from work as it was convenient. Probably should have known something was off when one of the cooks looked out in anger at the order for the customer ahead of me. Decided to overlook as I'd not eaten all day, and was hungry. Ordered the chicken pad thai, spicy. All I got was a carton of plain noodles and chicken. No vegetables or spice to be found. Had to go home and add a mountain of sriracha and soy sauce just to eat it.

The cashier was super nice and friendly but the food was disappointing. I got the Medley 1 - rice, broccoli, spicy general tao I asked for chillk chicken, but this is the option if you go with the Medleys.. the options for medley are limited. The brocolli was just steamed and the rice was super bland. The chicken pieces were tough. I usually don't like general tao anyways, so I can't compare it nor can I really complain.
