Stream Side

Waited almost 2 hours for our dinner in a mostly empty dinning room. There were eight of us so we figured pizza would easiest for everyone. We ordered 3 pizzas for the table after waiting almost 15 minutes for anyone to come over to us at all. 40 minutes after we ordered I was going to ask how much longer it was going to be and was informed that they ran out of pizza dough and we need to choose something else. We almost got up and left and we should have but didn't. We all choose something else for dinner. We received fish that burnt from the fryer and sandwiches not made right and very poor service from a waitress who could have cared less about being there. We come to Higgins Lake a couple times a summer and will not be going back here. There are many good restaurants in the area and they might want to think about stepping up their game if they want to keep customers.

We've been here 5 times and I won't go back. Our first experience was great when they first opened. I told everyone how great the burgers and fries were. We don't mind overpaying for a meal up north when it's good because we understand they make their money in the summer months. However, like every owner that has taken over this place, they have downgraded their products but kept the prices high. What a shame that the residents have to travel outside of our own neighborhood to get a decent meal. We kept coming back trying something different each time because the visits prior were slightly disappointing but that just came down to preference. Tonight was different though. The server was terrible not to mention a little clueless, the cook couldn't make a Ruben sandwiche or a simple patty melt. I couldn't believe the waitress even took that out of the kitchen to serve to anyone and the manager (general manager ) could have cared less. The owners clearly don't know what's happening in their restaurant and if they do then shame on them too. This place won't be open very much longer. I'm so disappointed that yet another restaurant will fail in out community.

We had dinner there last night and we will definitely be going back soon. My cod dinner was cooked to perfection and the salad bar and homemade soups were wonderful. Our food was served to us quickly by our server, Hannah, who was very attentive and pleasant. We had quite an enjoyable experience there and are looking forward to going back.

Awesome place with live music. The artists were great. Food is g good, the homemade pizza sauce and pesto ranch was very good. Good quantity of food for very less price

Great food, service severely lags. Waited patiently for 15 minutes before drinks were even asked about. Ordered drinks and waited again to order food. 25 minutes after we arrived the waitress came to our table with no knowledge of the local fish offered, (not a big deal). Ordered fried fish meal. Order took almost a half hour. Food was good when it finally got here. Had to chase down the waitress to get another drink order in. This place could be awesome, but either service or the kitchen is ruining the experience.
