On our way to Langdale ferry, we stopped at Strait Coffee 6 km south of Sechelt. We left with sandwiches, drinks and desserts for four, then ate at a ferry terminal picnic table. All agreed this had been a great choice for lunch. On the Sechelt Peninsula, you can find a few fast food chains but there are many better options. Strait Coffee's cafe is one of them. In addition to a wide variety of breakfast, lunch and dessert items, they offer great coffee made from beans roasted near the cafe.
Stumbled upon this cafe as we were staying at an Airbnb nearby and was blown away by their grilled cheese ham sandwich. Vanilla latte was also perfect. Came back the next day to try the waffles
Delicious all the way around! Great coffee! Friendly service! Delicious baked goods! This will become my go to stop to and from the ferry! Yay! Looking forward to my next visit!
Straight up this is some damn fine coffee! Highly recommend Strait Coffee in Wilson Creek. Their food selection is tasty AF and definitely worth adding to your order. Get two, your future self will thank you a little later. Sometimes that's even before you get home. So really it's a win-win situation.
Food is fantastic, highly recommend the cheese scone and bacon egg Danish. The coffee is shockingly bad. We ordered Americanos and they had zero flavour - disappointing, but the food made up for it.
I spent a few months playing my guitar in front of this place a couple summers ago. Very friendly staff and people. Super comfortable atmosphere. Love the coffee and they have an awesome selection of goodies too. Cheers.
Excellent baked good. Great coffee. Yummy breakfast and lunches. So good. Would reccomend to everyone. Teresa , one of the amazing baristas, is so kind and lovely. Great atmosphere. Thanks for being the best cafe on the coast!
The person who makes all the sweet and savoury treats is a magician! So delicious. Best cheese scones anywhere! Also delightful coffees and teas. And great staff.
Their badass breakfast danish is my favourite! They also have a couple of fresh cheese cakes daily with interesting flavours like guava.
The food is amazing, so is the coffee. The staff are super friendly. Great spot to stop for lunch or a snack
