Another great experience @ Stoneycreek Village Dental. Dr. Melkie took his time to make sure I was satisfied with the end result. I was consulted each step of the way with no pressure or frustrations when questions were asked. His concern was my satisfaction. As well his assistant Sophie, was very professional and helpful in answering my questions. Earlier this month I saw Doreen for my cleaning…..another great experience ! Who would have ever thought that one could equate visiting the dentist for fillings or cleaning a great experience? They make it easy to say that . From the front staff to the treatment rooms ….everyone is awesome to deal with.
My visit last week and yesterday at this dental office were amazing. The staff were super friendly from the moment I entered the office. I was suffering from severe gum disease and the hygienists Kaitlyn and doreen did an amazing job with my cleanings and instructing me on how to maintain my oral health. The inflammation in my gums has already improved and I will follow the recommended 3 month cleaning schedule from now on and come back for my dental work. Thank you to everyone at stoneycreek village dental.
Christmas Eve these folks were open. Tho they didn’t have an available appointment that day they got me asap Boxing Day and fixed me right up. Friendly and professional service. Made me feel welcome I’ve Been back three times since. Such a great dentist office.
5 stars for Dr. Melkie and team! Melkie is a top notch dentist with excellent communication skills and is extremely dedicated to his practice. Front staff, hygienists and assistants are all amazing as well!! Highly recommend the clinic for your dental needs.
I had previous dental work done that ended up destroying my teeth. The staff here are amazing and Dr. Yohannes Melkie is taking the time to correct my bite for future work to be done, when other dentists sourced out for un-needed and expensive procedures. The assistants are amazing and reception is wonderful. So happy I found them!
If i could give less than one star i would. I went in for a root canal and cleaning. The dentist said I would only be paying a bit over $100 out of pocket after insurance. The hygienist tried charging me for time I wasn't even in the chair then stopped 10 minutes before my appointment was even finished and said I'd need to come back another day. The next day they called and said I'm already owing $230 out of pocket and to finish the cleaning would be around $300-$400 on top of that. It was my first and last visit to this dentist. I'll be going somewhere else to have the half a** job that they started finished.
Dr.Melkie and all of the dentist assistants I interacted with at Stoney Creek Dental were fantastic. Very clean, friendly and fun environment. Timely, efficient and did a great job with my teeth cleaning and fillings. Would highly recommend.
Do not recommend Dr Alan Chan who’s the owner of the clinic as well. I had wisdom tooth removed from Dr Chan, even after 1 month the pain didn’t go away, so I booked a follow up which they should have booked one after the surgery. Dr Chan at the follow up, asked me to book a root canal for the tooth next to the removed tooth. The dental assistant at that time questioned him about how come he didn’t know this at the time of wisdom tooth removal. I have had healthy teeth all my life so this didn’t resonate with me and I went for a second opinion to one of the renowned dentists in town. On examination with the new dentist, I was told that my tooth is completely healthy, no root canal needed and the gum is taking some time to close and prescribed me a toothpaste off the counter to help with that. Within 4 days of using the toothpaste my pain was gone and I didn’t have any issues after that. It feels so sad to experience this. As a follow up, I wanted to talk to Dr Chan on the phone and the receptionist Sasha and the manager Nadine were very rude to me and told me that Dr Chan is not going to speak to me and hung up the phone. They also billed me for the wisdom tooth removal follow up appointment, which was supposed to be a free follow up after the surgery. They are rude, unprofessional and do not care how the patient is feeling, all they want is to make money of your insurance.
First time there and had a great appointment. Very nice reception. Treated well by staff. Clean office and nicely setup.
Best place for kids! Kind staff and short wait times for appointments! They offer lots of cute take home rewards for the kiddos too :
