Not impressed with our invoice for summarizing our 2018 motorhome. We were quoted $150 and 45 minutes for a mechanic to show us how our coach works as we are first time owners, $700. Called Service department and they said it was a not expensive, would not reimburse some of the cost involved. Lost our business! FYI: Service Department never got back to me, as per their reply!
I cannot say enough good things about the service staff at Stone’s RV. They worked their schedule around my travel dates to fix my 5th Wheel. They were very professional and courteous. I would recommend Stone’s RV to anyone who has a problem with a RV in the Maritimes.
Very helpfull and knowledgeable group of people. Start to finish, my purchase experience was excellent. It is always better dealing with people that can laugh and joke around and seem to love their jobs. This group definitely comes through on that. I highly recommend them!
My recent on site service call by Steve Hendsbee absolutely on time, professional, very friendly and met all of our expectations. We received a handwritten note from Alen at the service department that was very much appreciated. Great team along with excellent service.
Went to return something that wasn't needed anymore. It was still in packaging and never opened. They were very unfriendly and I would even say rude. When I mentioned their attitude to another family member they told me "that is the way they are in there".
While making a crucial trip across Canada in our new trailer, in June 2021, our new refrigerator quit. Of course it was on a weekend, and we were already far from Nova Scotia. We got in touch with Jonathan, who graciously took time out of his weekend to make arrangements with Smith’s RV in Thunder Bay to take us in as soon as we could get there. It is not often you get the owners and senior staff to make you feel like you were one of their own customer family, like they did at Smith’s RV. It was like being home at Stone’s RV in New Glasgow. After exhaustive troubleshooting and failed attempts to get factory parts help American Holiday, a great technician was able to identify a substitute part to solve the problem. We were able to be on our way that same day. Having been in the service business myself for many years, I understand that everything does not always end the way you like. However, empathy, honest effort and integrity, always win the day. This experience also reinforced my belief in maintaining great relationships within your industry. Great friends in Stone’s RV, and now Smith’s RV, turned our disaster into a great “Campfire Story”. Thanks, from Wayne and Rita Taylor of Antigonish NS.

I cannot say enough about Stones RV. After buying two units from them some years apart their service and loyalty to their customers is sill excellent. They have went over and above to look after me even after the warranty was off my trailer. The service department went far beyond what I could even have hoped for. If anyone is thinking about purchasing a new or used unit I strongly advise them to deal with no one but Stones. They will not be disappointed. I will be singing their praises around the campfires for years to come. What a pleasure doing business with a company that stands behind its products and knows what customer satisfaction means. Stones is the biggest rip off. My mother bought a brand new camper less then a year ago and it leaks causing mold all through the camper. Stones will not take responsabillity for the faulty camper they sold my elderly mother. They said its her fault. How dose a camper thats less than year old leak. She paid 52 thousand for a camper that leaks, all they do is blame her. Stay away from stones she has been fighting since may. Still nothing done. They rip people off big time.
Could not have had a better sales & service experience. A top notch team delivering everything they said they would - and then + some!
