Stock Yards Village

It was an insanely hot day at the stockyards and this one security guard, I think his name was sikander was handing out water to people and everyone appreciated him so much. The mall definitely needs more places but this review is for the amazing security here 5/5 will come back just because of my interaction with him.

Pulling up, I was actually impressed! The setup gave me total Shops at Don Mills vibes, and the parking lot was massive and—blessedly—free.nn​Then, I opened my car door.nn​The instantaneous, deep-soul devastation of a raw sewage smell smacked me straight in the soul. Luckily, I was only there for a quick pickup order at The Children's Place. I would have loved to actually stay and browse the plaza, but I simply cannot survive that level of sensory assault while pretending to casually window shop.nnGo for the shops, but bring a hazmat suit or hold your breath!

**Serious safety concern at mall parking area and inside mall**nnTwo young male individuals on e-scooters verbally harassed my daughter immediately after we exited our car near Nations grocery store. They then followed us into the mall and were later seen waiting inside, continuing the harassment when we exited the store.nnThis was not a one-time comment but repeated, targeted behavior throughout our visit. It made us feel unsafe and forced us to cut our visit short.nnMall security and management need to take stronger action to address this kind of harassment and improve safety for shoppers and families.

Everything is here and within walkable distances.nnNations grocery store is huge!! Theres an arcade and giant playground. Ive never seen a place like this before!nnLots of hot counter food and deals are amazing. It’s a giant east asian costco - almost.

Stock Yards Village offered a more enjoyable shopping experience than I expected. It’s quite easy to walk between the stores and everything is well organized. Not having any parking problems is also a big convenience. It’s a nice and practical place for shopping in Toronto.
