Stilt House Gastro Bar

It was an amazing experience right when we walked in the door, literally. As soon as you walk in, they open the door for you, which you never see at restaurants. Yes, there was a bit of a wait but they had some amazing wine to keep me busy :) (& tons of beer selections) The selection was very unique and they even have tv's all over the restaurant that show what each item on their menu looks like! Totally helpful when you are undecided on what you want. The food came out in a timely manner and was oh, so delicious! I do recommend the meatloaf. The service was awesome too! We never had to wait on anything including drinks. To top it off, they opened the door on our way out. Quite a great experience and I definitely recommend this restaurant!

Wonderful food! Got myself the Gob Burger which was a 1/4 lb burger with fried onions and melted jalapeno cheese on a pretzel bun. So great! Great non alcoholic options available such as kombucha tea and Sprecher root beer. Friendly staff and great looking interior. Overall great pick!

With 30 beers on tap that are constantly being rotated it's a great place to go if you want to try something new. Add in the bottled beers they also have and it's like a glorious malted heaven. Unfortunately the food offered is a little subpar when compare with how much you pay. All in all, go for the beer.

Based upon reviews, stopped here for lunch on the way to an overnight stay in Port Washington. Order the butternut squash / apple cider soup which was very tasty. Also had the Angus Sliders, but found them to be somewhat greasy. Would rate the food & service at most four stars. However, whether due to the general acoustics of the bar area or maybe everyone just felt the need to yell, the background noise level was intolerable & certainly put a damper on lunch. With all the other choices in the immediate area, not a recommended stop.

I was surprised at how good the food was. Lots of yummy things to share like the Brussels sprouts and flat bread. Nice, attentive staff. Great place
