One of my absolute favorite spots! Always such a great experience from beginning to end. The pesto mozzarella sticks are one of my favorite appetizers and the forge bread they use for sandwiches is a game changer! They also have such a fun drink menu and I love that there are a few games you can play too! Highly recommend to all!

If you're looking for a delicious surf and turf or a unique cocktail, this is your place. They attention to detail is fantastic. I ordered Shrimp the Anvil Way and was beyond excited. They provide a tempura shrimp, garlic lime skewer and a fresh grilled version of which ALL were delicious. Not to mention the option of garlic smashed potatoes. I was in heaven.

Amazing Establishment! I can't come to Cedarburg and not visit the Anvil! Great for just drinks, a quick bite, or full blown dinner! Service is A1! The environment is family friendly and mature! Very vintage rustic vibe! The Burgers here are super fire! Everything on the menu is actually super 🔥! Great place! If you are visiting this area definitely stop by!

This place is a little tucked away but it's worth looking for. It's an old blacksmith shop turned into a restaurant which resides next to the old sawmill. Parking can be tough but there are plenty of side streets. They don't take reservations so if you're planning on dinner at a certain time it's worth showing up a few minutes early. Great food whether you get a simple sandwich or a full entree.

Probably a better lunch place. We ordered cheese bread for an appetizer and it was not very good - we didn't even finish it. I ordered a BBQ chicken soup and my boyfriend ordered a clam chowder. The soup was really good. The BBQ chicken soup was probably the best soup I've ever had. I ordered a vodka cream sauce chicken with pasta and he ordered a rib-eye and both were underwhelming. Tasted like something we could have gotten from Applebees for a lot less. Overall the atmosphere was not good for a romantic dinner date - it was very small with not many tables, and the acoustics made it so loud you could barely hear the other person talk.
