Starbucks

My pour over was very disappointing. I pick a pour over because I can at least have something of a light or medium roast rather than the pre brewed dark roast. Normally I am very satisfied but this light roast tasted like a dark roast and I'm pretty sure I didn't see anyone do a pour over. My guess? Watered down dark roast unfortunately. My wife's hot chocolate was satisfactory. The folks behind the counter were friendly and worked fast, although there were only two of them for a long line.

I waited 25 minutes from the time I payed and then had to ask where my drink was. The barista on duty made eye contact with me multiple times throughout the 25 minutes and never once asked what I was waiting for. Her response to my question was "oh, someone else probably took it." I was hoping for a quick coffee on my way home on a long drive and instead I'm now 30 minutes behind schedule.

I ordered an espresso and a cup of ice. There were 4 staffers at the time. After the third customer's order that came after mine, I asked about mine. The brista gave me a blank stare. The cashier stated "we thought you already got your order." I hadn't moved or left or anything so that response confused me. There were no apologies. My order was then filled and I left. I won't be returning to that store.

I ordered a venti flat white( which is normally a pretty strong espresso based coffee) and got a mixture of ground coffee and milk. When I told the barista that I'm not happy with the coffee, she said she has to charge me for extra shots. Taste your coffee before you hit the road, otherwise you wasted $5-$6.

Convenient and friendly, even though they did not get my drink right the first time.
