Starbucks

I love Starbucks, but my trip this morning was horrible. I ordered a cheese danish and trenta iced green tea lemonade ahead on the app before I left (I was going to pick it up on my way to school), and it should’ve only taken 5 minutes. I get there and run in, and my danish is ready but no drink. I assumed they must just be finishing up, but I was so wrong. I waited a little while before finally asking if it was being made yet, and the woman alerted another worker and said she would be getting it started for me. So I watched the girl for a while and she still didn’t start my drink. At this point it’s 10 minutes until I’m supposed to be in class for attendance, and my sister, who didn’t order anything, is waiting in the car. I ended up having to go up a second time to get them to finally make my drink! (Which wasn’t easy for me, I might add, because I have real anxiety about things like this). I ended up being like 15 minutes late for school, which counts as an absent, and my sister was really mad at me, so I ended up crying in my car before coming into the remaining part of class. I understand 100% that they didn’t mean to have such horrible service today, and things happen, but almost every other person who was waiting for their mobile orders had been there for about a half hour like I was. The lady who was walking out at the same time as me was 20 minutes late for work already. It was a horrible start to my day and I hope I’m not coming off as rude- I hate pointless negative feedback, I only wanted to share this so they can work to improve on whatever it was that caused this morning’s fiasco. Surprisingly bad experience today at Darboy Starbucks. Always been a great place. They lost my order, which is fine. It was very busy. After 30 minutes and several proddings from people before and after me in line, I went up to let them know. They were very busy and absolutely not interested in checking. The girl quickly commented that hot drinks take longer than cold--(over a dozen people behind me had received hot drinks by then) then a guy named JOSH jumped in and firmly told me he had a lineup of drinks and hot ones take longer. No interest at all in checking. I sat down for 10 more minutes and went back up through the regular line and gently asked if they could check. They did and the order was nowhere to be found. Two minutes later a pretty young girl came up and said she had been waiting 25 minutes, the same Josh who shut me down without looking vehemently apologized to her and put the wheels in motion to get her drinks. Same thing with another pretty young girl a couple minutes after that.

Really busy today. Baristas working hard and keeping up. Wait is about 10 minutes for a drink, but it's unusually busy for 1pm, Sat

Was disappointed today. Ordered salted caramel mocha frappuccino venti and received bad flavored water....no mocha or caramel flavoring at all. For almost $6 I would hope I would get something better than water.

Their consistency and service are exceptional. The quality of their roasts leaves much to be desired.
