Story

Starbelly is a 150 seat gourmet-casual restaurant that brings an approachable version of a downtown-like atmosphere and concept to the newly developed area of Seton, known as the downtown for Southern Calgary.

Starbelly's menu highlights the best local and seasonal product, supporting Alberta farmers and organic growers. Creative dishes please both your palate and your eyes, through bold flavour combinations and stunning colours.

Very classy and well finished restaurant. Staff are very professional and friendly. Had some mushroom gnocchi and would definitely make effort to go visit again. Good place if you're looking for something a little more upscale. Really fantastic place

Came here on a Friday Night after booking on OpenTable, requested a booth if possible during reservation but was sat at a small table off to the side while booths were still open. Now the drinks and food were absolutely amazing and delicious but the only reason it didn’t get a 5 star is because they lack in customer service. We ordered a salad , 3 “Starters” and main pasta dish to share between 2 ladies. The pasta and one other starter arrived first and we were told the kitchen wanted to hold the salad and our 2 other “Starters” since our table was too small and everything wouldn’t fit ? Why would you make all 5 of our dishes at once and then send out our main first when we haven’t even received our salad. We requested for all dishes to come out and just made room on the table however we could . Started with our salad and appetizers , by the time we were done our main course was cold so we had to send it back to get warmed up. That was our only disappointment of the night as other restaurants I have been to would move you to accommodate more dishes on your table not hold your starters until you finished your main. Just didn’t make any sense to us. The donut dessert was a great end to the night. I would definitely recommend and come back otherwise. Mypiglife rating : 🐽 🐽 🐽 1/2

Really nice room. Service is very friendly and food was very good. Each time we have been it has been enjoyable. Food is good, cocktails are done well, service is good and atmosphere is pleasant. Worth trying it for yourself. Will be back to try more menu items.

Amazing, cozy place. Great food. Orgànic, farm to table. Is less of a family orientated restaurant & has intimate ambiance. Although, when I ate there, there were families with very young children eating there, so they serve everyone!

Professional and friendly staff. Clean and well maintained building. Contemporary but comfortable aesthetics. Food and drink is of higher caliber, without a pretentious atmosphere. It's a good place for multiple occasions: romantic date, business meeting, or even to pull up a high chair and eat with your baby.
