Montana’s BBQ & Bar

We received gift cards for Montana and we went to this location. The food was acceptable and the servers are very attentive and presentable believe me, I’ve seen servers like it seems they don’t want to be there, they forgot the onion rings for me and my wife but they brought it in when mentioned it. My daughter enjoyed her Mac and cheese and my son enjoyed his chicken burger, and the nachos are enjoyable. For sure this is still a place we would consider coming back.

We ordered 7 ounce sirloin was tough and the baked potato could have been a lot hotter to at least melt the cheese and butter. The chicken club wrap, when it came noticed something a little off with it, proceeded to pull out what looked to be bacon but was not at all the colour of bacon and the smell of it was revolting… I would have to say that it was old expired bacon left out too long before cooking.nI let the server know when she came back to ask how everything tasted.nShe was very apologetic for something not her fault.nShe told her manager and when we received the bill she said they took off the price of bacon $2.00.nBacon is an essential ingredient for a club is it not.nThe manager didn’t bother to even come and talk to us about it.nWe asked the server if she would eat that bacon and she looked at it and said “No, the bacon here is gross”nUnfortunately because of this experience we will not be back to eat again.

The restaurant was pretty cold but the food was not bad. Actually, the plate was pretty empty. They may serve smaller plates or add more food.

One of my favourite restaurants is Montana's. They make wonderful ribs and their food is fresh with very straightforward flavors. I’ve never had a bad meal at Montana's.

Had dinner here this evening. It was great. We had the spinach dip, fish and chips and a rack of ribs.nEverything was hot and fresh and the service was excellent.nnThe lovely lady at the front opened the door for us and was very friendly, she also asked how our meal was as we were leaving.nnOur server was great. She checked on us twice after we had gotten our food which most places fail to do in my opinion.nnAll of the servers around us seemed to provide excellent service.nnI would definitely call it a family friendly restaurant. There were quite a few people with kids so there was some noise. But for the prices I would not expect fine dining.nnBut the service was better than some fine dining establishments and the food was great. I could have taken 5 cornbread home:
