The largest stationery and office supplies store in Regina.Practically covers all categories. Spacious aisles. Printing done under Solution Shop.Quality in general is good; but, prices are high; may be due to absence of competition. 2 passport size photographs costs around Can$50.Pick up and delivery also available.
Bought a printer 2 months ago and took it in today because it will not print. Found out the printer warranty is one where I have to send it to the factory to get it fixed. So much for the manufactures warranty since it would cost more to ship than what the printer costs. So if you don’t get the extra warranty you are screwed. Buyer beware I guess. I will now have to go buy another printer not at staples but will check the warranty details. A printer should last more than 2 months, what a shame and waste of money.
Great place for all sorts of stationery and business supplies. I appreciate the opening of early and late hours. There’s always somebody available to help with questions and options or to take you to where you’ll find what you need. Lots of space in the aisles and nowhere feels overstocked and crammed. The copy space has plenty of machines that are most always full of paper and there’s never a lineup. The workspace is adequate and supplies are available to use without extra charge. And it’s always kept neat and clean.
I waited 30 minutes at the solutions desk before same even started to serve. I was told no one could help me because the only person working in the Solutions Centre was already using the only work station for someone else. I wanted new business cards printed. I had the image and the content. The fellow had me wait at the work station while he helped 2 people behind me. Are you kidding me! Then they told me to go to another work station and pick out the template I wanted. Then he proceeded to help more people that were standing behind me. Then he comes back and starts to adjust the image I wanted in the business card. But he had no idea how to do it. Then he said to me “it’s not my job”. He further said “You have to adjust the image and enter in the text the way you want it”. I couldn’t believe what I just heard. I have them do business cards for me before. A young lady took about 5 minutes and I was set. We have purchased printers, a lot of printer cartridges, office furniture, office supplies, shipping supplies, planning diaries, presentation material etc. and this is how this store treats a long term customer. The store manager Thomas was there and was truly useless. While he tried to help a customer he kept interrupting the service person in the Solutions Centre. Why? Because he didn’t have a clue what he was doing. We are certainly not going back. I will be going to one of the other printing companies in Regina to get my business cards, brochures and signage. All told I spent 40 to 45 minutes at the solutions centre. Time I will not get back. I didn’t get the business cards I wanted. All I got was a bitter taste in my mouth. And to top it all off, the manager was standing right there and didn’t even apologize. Of course “it’s not his job”.
