This place needs to upgrade the remaining courts appropriately. When you get shafted on a court that has lines all over the place , tape ripping off and it’s slippery, I’m not sure why we pay full price for something clearly unsafe and uncared for. At least they tried to tape it for us but wasted about 10 min of our play time. So they get 2 star instead of 1. Front desk guy showed me how to retape my grip for my raquet for free and they changed more courts. 3 star now.
This place has many parking for customers and fields to play. However, make sure to book the place on the weekend since it is always booked during that time. The pricing for now is 22 per hour. As I remembered, it was 20 per hour a few months ago.
The floor is crazy slippery. They didn’t even bother to wipe it or do anything even after you let them know is very slippery. When customers pay full price for a badminton court, they should at least provide us with a proper and safe place to play.
Yesterday me and my friend both slipped in one of the courts and pulled my hamstring. The courts were wet. I told the guy who works there that the court is wet. His response was " I KNOW" with an attitude. He said we have turned on the fan and there's nothing we can do about it. I asked if they can at least wipe the court, he said no. The least they could have done was put up a sign there to let people know. Or close those court that were wet, instead of increasing the risk for people to get injured. It was very dangerous. It just shows that all they care is to mooch money off people and how very negligent they are despite me asking them to do something about it. They are just increasing their risk for personal liability. Very disappointed by the staff.
The rental price was fairly cheap compared to other places however this was reflected in the state of the facility. First, the washrooms were disgusting, the doors cannot even close with clogged toilets. Second, the courts were worn out resulting in a safety hazard and almost resulted in me twisting my ankle on these terrible courts. Thirdly, the ventilation is non-existent. All in all I'd say coming here to save that extra couple of bucks is totally not worth the amount you're saving.
Certain spots are really slippery almost fell. Courts are wide enough that you dont hit birdies into other peoples court. Bench on every court very spacious. Parking was packed as i believe its a shared lot
Great environment to play badminton with friends. They sell drinks, equipment and clothing as well.
I was about to leave a relatively mediocre review, however, I then realized that there are already loads of negative words. Back to the point, Stage 18 is a superb place for us to exercise and make friends, especially during this epidemic: groups, individuals and coaching are all welcomed; staff keep paying close attention to our status of vaccination, and maintaining a clean and bright environment. Even though my 8 years old legendary racket was broken at Stage 18 recently, I would not blame them. But there’s a significant problem: slipperiness. Perhaps it was quite humid, so I kept sliding and falling. It can be a major hazard for any of us, since we are the only ones who are responsible for our physical wellness.
The place is very humid all the time, they could do better job in ventilating the area since it’s a huge warehouse-like.
Some courts are uneven and the lines are just not aligned. There are new courts as well which is better. Not the best, not the worst
