Seeing Dr. Gibbons to improve overall well being and to aid recovery from a back injury has been transformative. It’s refreshing to be treated by someone who’s not only passionate about what they do, but also someone who’s constantly expanding their knowledge and abilities to heal people. Worth it.
I went to see Dr. Matt Gibbons because I was suffering from a concussion. I went to see a physiotherapist, a chiropractor, a massage therapist and a acupuncturist and was going every week and nothing was helping me at all. My concussion specialist recommended I see Dr. Matt Gibbons and I have to say it has been a complete game changer! I am now able to work again and I feel great. I highly recommend Dr. Matt Gibbons to everyone. He has helped me with my concussion and all my aches and pains besides. He is such a nice guy and the knowledge he has is absolutely amazing and very impressive! I highly recommend him!
Dr. Gibbons is one of the most professional and well versed osteopaths on the island. He has treated me multiple times for various injuries, I always leave feeling 10X better than when I went in. His knowledge of the human body and the physiology is truly incredible. He pieces together parts of the puzzle that may seem like the impossible. I am a third year nursing student & I meet many nurses on the floor that speak highly of Dr. Gibbons.. he is a well known osteopath and for good reason. From walking in the front door to walking back out again his staff are welcoming and professional. I would recommend that anyone see Dr. Gibbons and his staff.
Matt Gibbons is only person who has helped me learn about the chronic pain I am living with. My family doctor has brushed me aside telling me “you’re aging, exercise.” which only made it worse. At Stability Osteo, I have felt heard, respected, and helped. Thank you!
I have used alternative medicine for the last 40 years. I had a session with Matt Gibbons about 7 weeks ago, it was a joke. It was obvious he is not a qualified Dr. of Osteopath. I checked out his school and the course he completed, they confirmed was on line for 1 year. A Dr. of Osteopath takes 5 years in class and in school. I has a session with a qualified Dr. of Osteopath 4 weeks ago in St. John's, Dr. Mike Eddy, Eddy spent 5 years in school and in class to qualify, it was obvious the difference in the quality of the treatment and the knowledge between both. Gibbons told me to rub my eyebrows and re book another appointment, really rub my eyebrows for a back issue. Eddy's treatment after 4 weeks has changed my life and he told me I dont need to come back. If Gibbons claims he has no record of my visit as he has others in the past I have my receipt from my visit with him. STAY CLEAR. Eric Healey
For nearly 20 years I tried combinations of physiotherapy, massage, and chiropractic services to help with the pain following an automobile accident. Sadly none of these services helped with my condition and sometimes left me in more pain. I came to Stability Osteopathy and finally I have found relief! Thank you Dr. Matt Gibbons for leading me on the road to recovery!
I was having major neck issues as I had been diagnosed with occipital neuralgia after a fall down my stairs. Dr gibbons has been excellent with the treatments he offers and I now have less issues with the mobility of my neck!
There appears to be a couple of fake negative reviews posted. Unfortunately, in my experience, these reviews are often initiated by competitors and should be ignored. My experience with Dr. Gibbons and his staff has been nothing short of stellar. After a serious MVA a couple of years ago I was treated by a physiotherapist, chiropractor and massage therapist who finally recommended I see Dr. Gibbons with little or no success . After being treated by Dr. Gibbons, I now have complete mobility of my left shoulder and, no further pain in my neck and shoulder. He also treated my daughter's TMJ in 2 sessions. Look, both negative and positive reviews can be orchestrated, especially in the digital world. The most legitimate experience to be shared is the personal experience.
My experiences with Matt have been nothing short of a blessing. First experience: I could not sleep comfortably due to shoulder pain for years, one session with Matt and some at home exercises those issues have not bothered me since. Second experience: After working rotation work in another province I found my glutes would lock up and form a ball of muscle. I tried message therapy for months between rotations with some mild results. After seeing Matt these issues dissipated quickly and when it does flair up again from time to time my body adjusts as it already knows the formula to fix it. I have and continue to refer anyone in discomfort to Matt. Highly recommend
I had a longstanding issue with a wrist as a result of breaking a bone and never having it addressed. I thought the issues were permanent. Dr. Gibbons ascertained it was being caused by scar tissue pressing on a nerve in the wrist. And then he fixed it. If you have any wonky bits, you honestly should give them a call. If it's something they can treat you'll be pleasantly shocked by the results.
