Story

Besides giving a monetary donation, the best way you can support St. Vincent de Paul of Seattle|King County, as we help our struggling neighbors in need, is to shop at our five King County thrift stores.

Sales in our thrift stores support our programs to help our neighbors in need, including our Helpline, Home Visits, Centro Rendu, Operation Veteran Renewal, Food Bank, and Case Management programs.

To support our work, you can drop off your gently-used clothing, furniture or household goods at any of our five King County thrift stores or the St. Vincent de Paul of Seattle|King County office at 5950 Fourth Avenue South in Seattle (Open Monday through Saturday). If you have furniture to donate, please call our Donation Intake Department at 206.767.3835 to schedule a pick up.

First off, St. Vincent does a lot for the community. Thank you. Similar to Goodwill, this is a thrift store that sells donated goods and some new essential home items such as mattresses of all sizes. Parking lot is fairly large. The two stars off is because the bathroom really stinks! It smells of urine so bad, I have trouble breathing in there.

Good place for clothes. Aisles are narrow. Furniture expensive for thrift store.

I like this St. Vincent de paul location mostly because, their always stocked with nice items that aren't run down. The cashier was a nice woman she greeted me as soon as I walked in and she pointed me in the right direction. I ended up buying two brand new queen size pillow top mattresses, two new box springs, and two new metal railings my total was less than $700 (great deal). This location also offers a punch card and after so many purchases you get a percentage off the total. Unfortunately the reason I didn't give 5 stars is because the males workers don't like to assist you in moving large furniture to your truck. I asked a male worker from the warehouse if he could help me get the mattresses into the back of the truck. He told me no that he doesn't know how to, so I did it alone while he stood and watched me. So much for being a gentleman seemed lazy to me.

Always find some cool stuff in the home wares section, good prices, friendly staff. One of my favorite thrift stores

Lots of great deals and they have a punch cards for savings after 7 punches. I wish the shelves weren't packed so full though, it can be hard to look through without knocking everything off the hangers.
