AVHS Thrift Store & More provides thrift store shopping, consignment booths and pet items while the proceeds benefit the lost and abandoned animals.

Story

AVHS Thrift Store & More provides a venue for the sale of gently used items as well as treasures, collectibles and antiques. The proceeds support the services, programs and the animals at the Animal Shelter. Due to the success of the store, the shelter hours were expanded in 2015.

New programs were launched as well. We added a Humane Education program to provide education about responsible pet ownership, compassion and respect. The pet food for the Senior Pet Food Pantry is distributed from the AVHS Thrift Store & More the 3rd Thursday and 3rd Friday in partnership with the Seattle Humane Society.

Low prices even for as thrift store. Alright items great friendly staff. Ridiculous that they need security and constantly get ripped off. I love shopping here because most the money goes straight to supporting animals.

Lots of great stuff usually well-priced and your purchases benefit the shelter in that mind set it's totally worth it even if you find a slightly higher price item than you were expecting. It's definitely where it take all night stuff to be donated now since I know going to the shelter it's for a good cause. And the staff are pretty great

It's a great idea but staff isn't very friendly. Also some of the prices are ridiculous! I personally don't think things should be priced so outrageously high due to the fact it's used garbage
