AVHS Thrift Store & More provides thrift store shopping, consignment booths and pet items while the proceeds benefit the lost and abandoned animals.
AVHS Thrift Store & More provides a venue for the sale of gently used items as well as treasures, collectibles and antiques. The proceeds support the services, programs and the animals at the Animal Shelter. Due to the success of the store, the shelter hours were expanded in 2015.
New programs were launched as well. We added a Humane Education program to provide education about responsible pet ownership, compassion and respect. The pet food for the Senior Pet Food Pantry is distributed from the AVHS Thrift Store & More the 3rd Thursday and 3rd Friday in partnership with the Seattle Humane Society.
