Everyone from security & admin staff to nurses & doctors... were friendly and helpful. My two visits there in a week were a much better experience than i had expected. I had surgery, an overnight stay the nurses on ward 4th floor were very attentive, kind and efficient, then post surgical follow up later on. I had complete confidence with it all.
I was transferred from City hospital to St Paul's due to the need of an available general surgeon. The doctor's, nurses, care aids and security were wonderful and attentive I am so happy with the care I received. When going outside I just kept to myself, only went out during daylight. If I was uncomfortable or didn't like what I saw I just went back to my room. Again thank-you to everyone on the 5th floor for the care I recieved
My first time being admitted the 14 hour wait was excruciating because I was in pain sleeping on a chair with my tiny pillow. However the waiting room was packed and I just waited patiently, BUT that wait was worth it! Once in; my triage nurse was absolutely amazing caring kind and personable her level of care was sincere. From the orderly’s taking me for XRays, CT, and my procedure these people are so kind and professional! The caregivers, food, everything was pristine, clean and was like clock work! The staff on the fifth floor floor I was on great beautiful hard working people! I have never felt so comfortable, welcomed and respected in my entire life! The doctors, techs everyone was informative and answered all my questions and walked me through what was to happen. Every angle of my medical care was covered! I cannot express enough of how great these men and women work to make sure you are 110% when you leave! Thank You all from the bottom of my heart even the amazing Doctors who saved my life!!
This place is absolutely brutal. Spent six hours waiting at the emergency just to be completely misdiagnosed I had strep throat. The doctor told me he thought I had herpes in my mouth pretty much gave me nothing. Two days later my lab results came in. Of course strep throat went to the clinic, got the medication and it went away 24 hours later. Don’t trust these people…
I went to St Paul's on Monday around noon complaining about pain under my right breast rib and after several tests done Dr found a massive blood clot in my lung. The Dr and all the staff were so good to me. I just wanted to thank them for taking care of me.
