Great experience at this hospital for an outpatient procedure. Every employee was exceptional. I was nervous but they may me feel comfortable and we're all so caring.
Horrible ! Waited 2 hours with my daughter to see a Dr only to be told she is not a priority - and we would be waiting at least a few mode hours. Rewind 5 years - Let not mention my late husband having a heart attack - the city hospital staff accused him of being a drunk Indian just wanting pills. And refused to help him - he later passed as a result of a brain bleeding due to hitting his head while collapsing from the heart attack. City hospital you should be ashamed! Your staff lack morals and values that should be essential in Healthcare
By far the slowest hospital I have ever been to. Arrived in the morning with 4 people ahead. 3 people BEHIND us got in first and were out before we even got in. This was in emergency so no appointments. No ambulance came in. 6 hours and still waiting while others behind us are being helped first!!!! Was also prescribed medication that had nothing to do with why we went in. Needless to say, we are very frustrated with the service.
Hospital is clean fast and friendly. If you're in need of ER services you'd be better off going to RUH or SPH. City is more for specialized services or surgery. ER has limited hours and staffing, as its more a supplement to the other ERs.
3600 got a new hip! Brilliant people! Helpful staff. Easy access for parking!!
I was there today and the young lady that was in charge of my MRI at 430pm was a very kind, sensitive, passionate about her job and compassionate with her patient, she was a complete angel, she deserves the acknowledgement. Thank you. There was also the young lady at reception that was friendly and pleasant, always nice to talk to people that are friendly and kind, unlike the ones that don't care about the people they are suppose to help and are just there for the paycheck.
My wife went into day surgery today. Doctor Sielski the anesthesiologist Gerard and the nurses Tayler and Libby were all awesome. Other nurses on the 4th floor that my wife couldn't remember the name of we're also excellent. My family and I are very grateful for the help the staff provided.
Was not impressed with nurses in the ER. Very inconsiderate… seemed like they were more focused on drama of something. When I went to ask a question I got a snarky remark. Maybe just a bad day?
As someone with chronic pain and and mother with MS, we choose City Hospital every chance we get. Yes, in the 25 years that I've gone through the ER with my mother and the 5 years of dealing with my pain we've had various wait levels, but I understand what triage actually means. The staff at City are amazing! There's been the odd less than ideal interaction but if I had the job of working triage or anywhere in the ER, I'd have trouble staying pleasant 12+ hours a day. Take the 1 star reviews with a grain of salt. No, I'm not a nurse or a medical professional, I just have spent a lot of time going through the triage process and the ER. Be thankful you aren't paying $12,000 out of pocket for a broken bone. Giving a hospital 1 star? Are you kidding?!
Had my very first surgery at this hospital. I was so scared to be put under but the nurses and Dr's were very understanding and patient with me and assured me I would be okay. They kept my guardian updates and were all very pleasant!
