St. Lawrence College Residence - Kingston

The room wasn’t particularly clean - cobwebs in the corner and food detritus on the desk. The space is very sparse, but the single bed was comfortable. I travel with my own pillow, which was wonderful because I don’t care for plastic pillows. Took quite a while for hot water to reach the shower, but I ran hot at the sink to help speed that up a bit. Having to pay for parking is pretty crappy. I was also surprised when I got my bill to find out that it was considerably more than I thought it was going to be. When I asked for clarification, I was told it’s because there was a regatta in town. I asked if the prices changed depending on the events in the area and was told that they did. If I’ve known I was going to pay that much for a room with no television and no coffee maker, I probably would have coughed up the other 20 bucks for a room with a nice queen size bed instead.

Big room. Smells like the library and other smells. Big fridge. No tv. Parking is NOT free Mon-Fri. Pay for your parking before you leave your vehicle. I got a ticket for $25 while I was inside resetting my PWD on the honking honk app to pay the fee. About $10/day for parking. Also they add a 4% extra fee for the room charge for advertising? or smth idk.

Very accommodating and supportive staff. The dormitories are okay. It’s priced accordingly. Summer accommodation is a great addition. Laundry machines on-site is great.

The staff were great. They all made it a very welcoming experience and ensured that it was the best stay possible. Levi at the front desk was very helpful with everything and definitely added to this experience. The room was as expected and very clean. Would return again and recommend to others.

Overpriced for what you get. Spend the extra and stay at a hotel. From hallway to room is dirty, there were hairs, stains and dust all over our bathroom. No bathroom latch so the door doesnt close, shed latch at the back of the door. Fridge gasket fell right off unable to close fridge properly. The room had an odor until the air was turned on and we had to go out and purchase pillows and blankets because was it provided can't be called either. Beds were incredibly uncomfortable. An additional $9 a night for parking, one staff member was friendly the rest wouldn't even look or say hi to you.nnGreat concept but for what you get and the standards of the rooms very overpriced!
