St. Lawrence College Residence - Kingston

Techicians are wonderful and students are friendly. It's a great learning experience for the students and an awesome orice for services.

Reasonable sized dorm rooms. Paper thin walls though so you are close with your neighbours. Would highly recommend the upgraded rooms. Basic room linens look like they came from the old Kingston pen. Not the worst hostel type place I've been but certainly not the best.

The staff were courteous and allowed us to park early while we explored the city - nice! The accomodation was bare-bones. There were stains on the nylon fitted sheets and top sheets, even the replacement sheets were stained. The beds were comfortable though. That being said, it was only $72 in high season in Kingston. Saving 50% was worth the small inconveniences!

I'm driving across Canada and made a mistake booking by 1 day and am not able to change my reservation by 1 day (Tuesday to a Wednesday), depsite them being way under max occupancy. Unreasonable and do not care about customers. Garbage.

We spend 2 nights here and we think is quite comfortable. A bit far from Kingston downtown, but if you like walking we recommend a stroll to the city following the lake, about 45minutes. They serve breakfast during weekends. You can also swimm in the lake. We hardly recommend a visit to the restaurant of the center for creativty The Tett, it's facing the lake and so modern.
