St-Hubert Rotisserie

Hadn't been to St-Hubert in a long time so thought we'd try again. We did the quarter chicken leg and the Thai skewer with poutine as a side. The skewer was good but felt a bit small for $27. The poutine upgrade isn't worth it either. It wasn't bad but there's much better place for poutine so wouldn't get that again. The quarter chicken was really good but not significantly better then Score's. Overall we liked our lunch but I do find Score's better and it's cheaper but glad we tried.

My wife, daughters and I have been eating in-house or takeout at this location from the early 80s. 100+ meals at least.nnThroughout the year, tantalizing new menu options are mixed with their oldies but goodies — food quality has been consistently good! Service and atmosphere makes for great get-togethers!nnTODAYnnToday’s take-out counter service was a fine example of why we love this location. Commendable customer-care and food quality.nnKudos again to ‘LUMENA 132’ for exceptional customer service today during the lunch hour. Commendable interpersonal skills, dedication to customer care, efficiency and attention to detail. BRAVO!nnSide Note: Brian Mulroney was Canada's Prime Minister in 1989. I recall my family dining at the restaurant with Brian Mulroney and his family sitting at another table nearby. They lived nearby at 24 Sussex Drive, the official residence of the Prime Minister of Canada, located in the New Edinburgh neighbourhood of Ottawa, Ontario. I think that it might have been the night before the Federal deficit reduction & spending budget was scheduled to be presented the next day. I teasingly suggested quietly to my wife that if the Prime Minister of Canada and his family is eating with us at St. Hubert tonight—it doesn’t bode well for tomorrow’s Federal budget . HeHe

Excellent food as always! It got a bit noisy but otherwise a reliable choice any time I drive thru Gatineau. The piri leg dish is excellent with crispy skin.

Not a pleasant experience. Food was mediocre. Our server was very rude which soured the whole expience. We did our best with reading the menu. Out kids ordered off the kids menu and she never asked about desserts or drinks. Is it a policy to try it scam English speaking people? She was very annoyed at the end when my daughter asked for her dessert. I expect better when dining anywhere.

We ordered a lot of things including roasted chicken, full ribs, Caesar salad, beer with deep fried chicken and fries tonight. They are very tender and delicious. We are so hungry that I forget to take photos of most of the dishes.
