It is hard to find shish taook/shawarma that is comparable to the taste I am used to in Montreal; but this place is it! Typical counter service with seating available. You can get a small or large pita which is new to me & I love and the garlic sauce is so garlicky & fluffy! The potatoes were great & I will definitely be back when I’m back in the area. Fair prices as well!
We had dinner at this place on a Friday night, it wasn't as expected. The shawarma skewers look delicious yet the taste not so. Staff is friendly and the place sells well. But it's nothing like a Lebanese shawarma or filet mignon or even platters. It's simply a Canadian style of presentation. A mess. We tried the meat and chicken shawarma and the filet mignon sandwich with potatoe fried cubes.
Excellent service. Honestly we have been traveling around. And this is the best shawarma we had so far great quality chicken and beef. Thanks .
Visiting Ottawa, what a treasure! Best Lebanese food since Dubai…best food of any kind in years. Don’t let the exterior fool you, they invest in food and people…so much fun! I think they enjoyed playing with me, “the dumb tourist” too!

Wow, just wow. 5/5 I like and eat shawrwma often and this was by far the best I have tried.
One of the better shawarma places in Gatineau. It’s usually busy which is a good sign that the food isn’t just sitting around all day. We usually order the family platter for 10. They include a really large platter of salad, and a separate platter of potatoes , rice and the meat of choice. They are a bit on the expensive side when compared to the family platters in Ottawa. Overall they do have good food though.
I had a decent Shawarma sandwich although I've had better. I would have left 4 stars but got the wonderful surprise at the cash that they don't accept Visa or Mastercard which is a real pain in this day and age. Cash or debit only here so you had better come prepared or you will look foolish when it comes to paying for your order. They do have a small sign on the wall that specifies no credit cards in case you happen to look at the wall while you are ordering.
The food is really good but the idea where the tip is not an option is awful especially for take outs, it is like any other fast food the price of preparing the food and putting it in a container is already included. You were not seated and served so tips should be an option.
The shawarma is really good, but the falafel is a bit too dry and airy maybe bread crumbs or something. The service is very good, the place is clean, and the employees are efficient. I'll definitely go again, but not for the falafel. I'm from the Gaza area, so maybe I'm just used to a different type of falafel.Food: 4/5
