Food was pretty good but I agree with everyone else, it's way overpriced. $24 for fish and chips 3 piece after tax. That is pretty steep for fast food. If Spuds could find a way to drop prices I think they would sell a lot more fish. Just a thought...I will probably stick to Ivar's since its half the price and also really good.
The fish and chips I got was pretty good and stacked up to others pretty well. I just thought it was a bit over priced for nothing special. I was not disappointed at all but not very impressed at the same time. When I want some fish and chips this wouldn't be the first place I'd think of. Give this view a thumbs to help others.
Spud's is taking excellent Covid-19 precautions and I thoroughly enjoyed my takeout fish & chips!
The best location was the Greenlake location. Don't waste your money.
Another amazing Spud location! The employees are so friendly, which is par for the course at Spud. I am never disappointed! Additionally, at this location, they always seem to throw an extra piece of fish on my order. It makes my day!
The food is good, but costs more than I expect to pay for such a simple to produce meal.
We love Spuds! That being said the new menu will probably mean we wont be back. We always ordered a two piece with two extra pieces of fish for the two of us. Three pieces isn't enough and six is too much.
Staff and manager/owner were very gracious and polite. Service was fantastic, above what one would normally expect in current climate. Thank you for taking the time to chat with us knowing you were busy taking care of all the customers.
The food was fine, as most anything deep fried is, but they gave us so little for what we paid. Ordered the “Cod Only” thinking this meant fish and chips minus the chips, I got a single cod fillet for $8.75. It served as an appetizer for the dinner I’ll now go pickup.
