Sportsman Campground and Cottages

This is our fourth year at Sportsman and we continue to enjoy our time there. The owners welcomed us and our family and friends. Our site is awesome, reasonably priced, the pool is so great on hot days and our fellow campers are friendly and fun! Met some great folks who stayed in the cabins too!!! The campground is on the lake and the public boat launch is within .5 miles from the campground entrance. We couldn’t be happier with our experience to date, and have several new friends who have joined us!!! So great to pull in to a campground FULL of happy campers waving as we enter. My in-laws have had a camp here for many many years. It’s a great location central to Burlington, lake placid and Lake George. Beautiful pool with gorgeous views. Owners are like family can’t imagine going anywhere else and getting treated so well!! Love you guys !!

Been staying here for 15 years. Sometimes once or twice a year, sometimes eight or nine times a year. Convenient and layed back atmosphere. Definitely not luxury accommodations, but homey and comfortable. They are always upgrading the accoutrements in the cabins, and the owners/staff go out of their way to make you feel welcome.

Sportsman Cottages Campground in West Addison, Vermont is a decent place to go camping or on a family vacation during the summer months. They have a few cottages available to stay in at the campground which you can rent. Also, when available, there are lots where you can park your RV or travel trailer and stay at the campground which requires rent and some utilities. There's an outdoor swimming pool and a playground for campers and their guests to use. The owners and management are generally nice people, but they don't like having to be the "bad guys" dealing with unruly campers. Most campers who stay at this campground are generally friendly and respectful of others. You will have a family enjoyment of fun there and you wouldn't be disappointed.

Love this place. Been coming here for years. If your looking for the Hilton keep going but if your like me and just want something comfortable you found it. Full kitchen and bathroom.

Absolutely beautiful view, the owners are very accommodating and friendly. The cabins are perfect and equipped with WiFi. The kids loved the playground and the inground swimming pool, and great fishing : would definitely recommend A+

Cottages are cozy,set up very well everything u need is here! Just dont expect a tv! R&R without any hustle n bustle owners are awesome!!! Feel like ive known them for yrs!!! Pet friendly grounds also with a pool! Quite the little community! With a beautiful view of the mtns behind the lake directly accross the street! I will def be back!!!

Love this place! Beautiful pool with a lovely view overlooking Lake Champlain. Cozy, rustic cabins have everything you need.

Worst cottages ever! Out dated, toilets didn't flush because of "all the rain". They took away the one port-a-potty and never brought one back when shey should have brought in a few. We had booked a week and ended up leaving after two nights.
