My husband and I were attending a wedding nearby and this was one of the brides suggestions to stay. We picked it on a whim and are very grateful we did!! Your hosts, Daphne and Pete, are wonderfully down to earth and quick to point you in the right direction if asked. It is a lovely place to stay with all kinds of custom touches from beautifully crafted furniture to stained glass windows and lamps (Pete's handiwork). The gardens were overrun with forget-me-nots, tulips and lilac bushes. The birds are plentiful and it's nice to hear their songs. The breakfasts were amazing featuring Daphne's homemade jam, scones and fabulous egg dishes! Our room was clean and the bed was comfy. You won't be disappointed!!
