Sport Chek Southland Mall

Went into Sport Chek to pick up swimming goggles for my two daughters. Asked for help at the cashier desk and they paged Emny(?). Sorry but I'm sure I got that wrong. She was excellent. Asked detailed questions and then actually went to the back stockroom to get two pairs of what she thought would be best to buy but happened to not be on display. A++ for extra effort when she didn't need to and could have easily taken a much easier but less helpful route.

You can get rollerblades here, which can be difficult to find at other stores. The price seems comparable to anywhere else that sells them (if you're buying brand new, anyway). The design of the fitting room area is really cool. I feel like it's worth walking into this store at least once just to see how stylish it looks. It's probably the best fitting room area I've ever seen in my life, to be honest. Yep, it's just that cool.

Awful customer service ..trying to get skates sharpened and completely ignored while standing by 2 different staff members and one was the person for skating and never even acknowledged me till I chased him down!!! Terrible!!!

Not my favorite place to shop. The selection is just OK. I was really turned off by the aggressive sales person who was wearing a Canadian Tire t-shirt and trying to get me to sign up for a credit card. This experience made me leave and I can say I'd probably never go back here. Also the lighting when trying on clothing is really terrible.
