Spirit Lake Casino & Resort

Great shows and helpful staff, but is not very equipped for the high amount of visitors it receives. We came early to eat at the buffet before a show, but there was a 45 min wait list to get seated with no where to sit and wait. Since we didn't want to miss our show we decided to run to a local restaurant before hand. The rest of the visit was great, just something to keep in mind!

I was staying in Devils Lake for work for the week and we came up for the seafood night at the all-you-can-eat buffet. The food was great the only thing I would recommend is giving a longer wait time instead of 20 minutes. We were told the way it will be 20 minutes at an all-you-can-eat buffet sounds a little bit funny but okay we ended up waiting 40 minutes but the food was well worth it.

I got a junior suite room at Spirit Lake Casino and Resort. The room was clean and bed had clean sheets. The bathroom had soap, shampoo and conditioner, makeup remover, a shoe cleaning wipe and mouth wash was also provided. I enjoyed the spacious room that included a king bed and a large clean hot tub. My room was around the corner from the eleditor. Rooms are all non smoking.

Nice place to stay. I thought the staff was friendly. We originally booked a mini suite but when we checked in the employee helping us said that a double would probably meet our needs better because a double room is bigger then the mini suite. Casino is very modern and high quality. I would stay again and recommend hotel to others.

Not completely happy with all the changes, they should have been thought through a bit better. Do not go there nearly as often anymore.
