I just got home from a 3 day ice fishing trip at Devils Lake. Had the best time with Aaron and Josh as guides, they really know what they are doing and put us on the fish. The facilities there is first class and I look forward to my next visit!

Amazing people well update house and cleaning shack couldn't ask for more highly highly recommend I'd say 6 star but they only give you 5 for the option.

My husband and I booked an ice fishing trip with a guide. Our guide was amazing. The owners are a wonderful couple. They provided us with an apartment that was so comfortable that we felt right at home. I would definitely recommend this group whether you are wanting a summer fishing or fishing.

My father and I are avid fisherman who live by the motto that there is nothing better than a day on the lake. In October, 2016 we decided to take a trip out west to spend some quality time together. We’ve always wanted to fish the legendary Devils Lake in North Dakota and after doing a bit of research we landed on the McQuoid Outdoors website. Upon viewing the pictures of the amazing fish caught while under the guidance of Aaron McQuoid our mind was made up.  Before setting off on our trip Aaron he gave us fair warning that the weather might be a bit on the chilly side but being from Wisconsin we didn’t mind one bit. We met up with Aaron around 10am in the town of Minnewaukan where McQuoid Outdoors is based out of. We picked up some minnows from the local bait shop and hit the water straight away. Our day started off slow but every good fisherman knows that there are no guarantees when it comes to fishing. We put our trust in Aaron and made sure to follow the techniques he suggested. Not too long after we started pulling fish in the boat left and right.  We fished the lake until dark and had an absolute blast. After leaving the lake we went back into town to the McQuoid indoor fish cleaning shack. “Shack” is probably not the most appropriate term because this was hands down one of the nicest fish cleaning stations that I’ve ever seen. Aaron efficiently fileted our fish and packaged them up for our trip back home to Wisconsin. We had the pleasure of meeting Mrs. McQuoid who allowed us to cook some of our fish on the spot in their deep fryer.  I couldn’t think of a better way to end the day than to eat some fresh fish straight out of the lake! This was by far one of the most pleasurable days on our trip and we have decided that we will be returning to Devils Lake in the future to stay with McQuoid Outdoors.  + Laurence Lee

Very clean comfortable facilities. Aaron is very personable and concerned about you enjoying your stay. Beds were very comfortable, up to date kitchen, and nice decor.  The guide worked hard to put on fish and made for very enjoyable days.

Been going to vacation with Aaron and his guy for 4 years now. They are excellent. World class fishing on very nice boats. The loadging is clean, nice and fully equipped. Friendly atmosphere and all you need if want a fishing vacation or if you want to fish hard too.
