Primo Veal

The best place in Toronto to get a veal sandwich hands down. The owners are great people as well but there's not enough I can say about the food here, it's fantastic! Make sure to try the hot pepper oil as well, it adds a perfect kick to that perfect veal sandwich they have here

The veal cutlet was seasoned well, although I should have asked to have it more crispy, that is just my preference. The tomato sauce and sauteed onions mixed quite well with the veal, it was just great. I will certainly go again in the near future!

Really enjoyed their paninos. Everything was fresh and well prepared. They have 2 vegetarian friendly sandwiches on the board and many salad/side dishes for veggies also. Hubby had the chicken cutlet with mushrooms and I had the eggplant parm sandwich with mushrooms. Both were really good. The sauce is perfect for their sandwiches and nothing was over greasy nor drenched in sauce. The bread was SOFT and FRESH. Customer service was great. Very friendly and attentive staff. The sit in area is very clean and bright. Eggplant parm sandwich was so yummy, we ordered another to take home! We’ll be back!!!

This veal sandwich is awesome! Custom made with everything I like in it awesome choice of toppings you can get it dipped if you like it sloppy or not dipped if you're going to eat it in the car. I'll put a better picture next time...... once I started eating it I couldn't put it down until it was all gone. Lol This may be a new location but these guys have been in business a long time and really know how to make a great sandwich thank you for an incredible experience

Got the Eggplant Sandwich and it was amazing! Loved the sandwich definitely going back to try other things on the menu!

Amazing food and hospitality. Whenever I am running late, I call them and place my order and it's all ready by the time I reach. I remember walking in first time and having no idea about the food it offered. The lady had amazing suggestions and i have been eating the same thing since then. Amazing chicken cutlets with provolone cheese. The person who makes them in kitchen is really passionate about it too. He explained very well as to how dipping cutlets in sauce eventually brings a fuller flavor than just topping them with it. Perfect value for money and quantity. Keep it up guys :-

They do meatball sandwiches on Wednesday that are absolutely amazing. Veal and chicken any other day is great too. Great place to stop in for lunch, the owners are super friendly and for how good it is, very reasonable prices. If I don't go here at least once a week I crave it. 5 Years Later: I'm only editing this review, I now live in BC and I miss this place so much! still think about those meatballs. Congrats to the new spot, looks great. Next time in TO i'll have to come eat hear!!!

Had a great veal sandwich, I added provolone cheese and mushrooms. Fantastic for a good price. Next, i tried the meatball sandwich. It is huge! But you will not be disappointed! Service was friendly on both encounters, with a warm environment.

Had chicken Cutlet dipped with hot peppers and it was great! Very similar to the chicken cutlet at California sandwiches so I'm glad I found this place as I would definitely go back! Lots of other items available on their hot table and they also make cold sandwiches such as prosciutto with provolone!

Finally made it in, without there being too much of a line. Place is super clean and had the feeling that there were many regulars from the conversations. How they pump out sandwiches is amazing! The staff are quick!! Only to find out from a co worker that they’ve been doing this for over 10 years! I had the veal with cheese and mushrooms and onions, I added a chilli oil which gave it a kick! And had the veal dipped which is the saucy way AMAZING.. great sandwich! Tasty and clean, although it’s big, couldn’t really finish it. Next I’m going in for the chicken or meatball!! Will definitely b back!
