花椒苑 Spicepepper Garden

For starters, food is excellent. We only got sushi but it's been delicious so far. That being said...the service we've received was kind of awful. When we walked in, the hostess was sitting across the room, and mumbled something at us, so I muttered a confused "yes?" So she groans gets up, comes over, and asks if we called ahead. I tell her we're here to dine-in. She gets visibly angry at me, yelling at me "I asked if you were here for pickup and you said yes!" Well hey lady, maybe do your job and be at the hostess stand, not on a booth messing with your phone. So she gets two menus, and walks away without saying anything. Then she turns around and gives me this look like I'm supposed to know to follow her....so she seats us, and rushes us to order. We get sushi...apparently this place's saving grace. The sushi is excellent, I definitely recommend it. Here's the kicker...when she brings us our food, she's still on the phone. Phone between her head and shoulder, she's taking to a friend or something but apparently it's so important she can't do her job instead...it's a miracle she has a job in the first place. If you like good food, check the place out. But beware, the hostess (if you can even call her that) is wildly unprofessional.

My girlfriend and I had our first date here. Love to place. As a local of Acton, I find myself getting takeout here 1-2 a week. They are very good about food allergies. To this day have not had any problems with take out mess ups. Dinning is fun. Very quite, intimate place to eat. They stick true to the authenticity of asian cuisine. They also have delicious sushi. Everyone is friendly and respectful.

Probably the best Chinese food around Acton. My son tried sushi. We did not like the combo sushi. well you might say well you are in Chinese restaurant why eat sushi? agreed! Seafood soup was delicious highly recommended. We also bought fish in white sauce. it was pretty good as well. We also got cold noodles in Sichuan sauce. Super spicy. My taste buds were saturated with it. we could not eat it. overall good place to have dinner.

This place gets a negative 10. Sorry I ever previously gave this place a good review. Restaurant lady ,,, Judy...... said the restaurant would deliver an order I entered, but quickly and subsequently declined without any notification to me - the restaurant left me high and dry. ( OBO the restaurant, Judy said they would deliver before 5, but then minutes later said they had changed their policy to 4. Manager was not available for comment and woman I spoke to understood little English. In the end, this debacle left my 4 guests and me with no food for a party. Worst service ever. We all had to wait over an hour, expecting our food to be delivered until then when I had to call yet again to hear the food wasn't going to be delivered UGH. Establishment is not committed to consumer satisfaction. Really bad place. I will never recommend this to my friends

Amazing food! But a bit pricey and no dinner combo plates which is not a good for someone that's only buying for themself.
