Filho's Great Road

This was our first visit to Filho's and it was all very positive. We were greeted as we entered and given a choice of where to sit. We arrived relatively early for dinner, 5:30, so there were still seating options and quiet enough for conversation. My food was excellent. I would highly recommend the beet salad! I should have stopped with that but proceeded to have veal saltimbucco for my entree ... excellent again! My husband wasn't as pleased with his choices but the wait staff was excellent asking if they could change something to make it more satisfactory. The restaurant is small , but I think that lends itself to becoming a regular stop for many in the community ... the kind of place where they might get to know you by name. The bathroom facilities was adequate as was parking. A special shout out to Julie, our server, for an excellent job!

This restaurant is just off rt 2 (on rt 2A) after the Concord rotary. It's very cozy with friendly service. We shared excellent mussels with a wonderful sauce. I had an excellent salmon special and my wife had a delicious pasta with vegetables. The portions were very generous and we brought "doggy" bags home. We also were tempted by a piece of chocolate cake and brought that home as well. We'll visit again. They also have a great pizza section on the menu. I'll investigate that in the future.

Showed up right at opening on Sunday and they were happy to seat is right away. The host was incredibly friendly and the music selection was awesome! I had the gnocchi and not only did it taste great it was also a giant portion.

We found this place last month and was very impressed. Came back and sat on the patio.(traffic is a little loud) but relaxing. The food is great and consistent, service is friendly and personal. Check it out for yourself.

Straight forward Italian food at reasonable prices. Full bar. There are specials scattered throughout the week. There are usually some daily specials.
