Spartans Greek Taverna

I’ve ordered the Chicken Souvlaki to go on multiple occasions but this time was the best yet! Something changed with the roasted potatoes for the BEST and the size portion is always enough for 2 meals. Super friendly staff and quick service. Reminds me of food I had in Corinth, Greece. This restaurant had fun decor. The server didn't exactly have a pep in his step, but he was nice. The star was the food. I had the mousakka, and my wife had the souvlaki. It was one of the best I've had. The house beer, the Spartan, was a good deal at $5.50 a pint, and very drinkable. I'd recommend it. The only drawback was the cost. It seemed very high, even for a Greek restaurant. Be prepared for sticker shock if you eat here.

The food was excellent! Especially the bell pepper dip kopanisti. There were a few non food related issues though, otherwise this would have been a 5. The bathroom was not well kept. Paper towels on the floor, no paper towels available, no soap in dispenser, etc. The other big issue was the music. The restaurant was not busy, bit the volume was extremely loud. So much so, that I could not hear my wife a few feet away. I asked our server, Don, to turn the volume down, but he did not. We were also charged for extra dip that we did not ask for, and while it was removed, it was a little suspicious as we did ask for extra pita for the dip. Another annoyance was the fact that we did not get nearly enough pita for the dip. We asked for more, and we were charged, which didn't sit well. I would recommend simply sending more pita with the dip, and just adjusting the cost. Other than that, the food was really good!

You can avoid this place. Nothing great about food. Spinakopitta was good. Souvlaki was not that great which was a surprise to be honest. Would not specially travel to go to this place for Greek cuisine unless i have no option.Food: 2/5

What can I say about Spartans... Excellent!! We had my mother in laws 70th birthday there in December and it was nothing but great experiences from start to finish. Phoned and booked it 3 months in advance and there was a deposit to be put down. Understandable, busy time of year and last minute big party cancellations hurt a company when they could have booked with someone else. I was happy to do so. Went in a week before the party to see about decorations, cakes, seating etc.. Tamara was on site when I walked in and she took me through everything. I mean.. exactly how the room would be set up, the options for the TV, options for desserts.. everything! Very informative. I asked if I went and bought decorations, if we could come in early and put them up. She not only was okay with that but OFFERED to get the decor AND put them up for our arrival. Wow.. That was convenient and I was thankful. We talked about desserts and she said a cake is absolutely allowed from outside the restaurant. She referred me to a good last minute place for cakes but that's not all.. SHE PICKED IT UP FOR US! Holy moly! This was by far the best experience and easiest I have had planning a big party dinner at a restaurant and trust me, I plan all my family functions. Tamara and her team were fantastic with preparations, communication and overall experience. The belly dancer got everyone moving in the room and breaking plates was a huge success as well! I now take my parents, friends or just my husband and I will make the extra drive to come here for a dinner. I am so happy with the experience and I know my mother in law had a great time. I will continue to support this business and I urge you guys try it out as well! A++

Some of the best Greek food I have had in years! It's a bit more entrees $27-$34 but worth it as everything is made from scratch with big portions! Appetizers are good & affordable as well, pitas are amazing! Great atmosphere overall. We had the best date night tonight! We will definitely be back for our anniversary in October!

We had gone to check out Spartans Greek Taverna tonight. We were pleasantly surprised with how great the service was. From the second we walked through the door we were greeted by the staff in such a wonderful manner. All the staff were friendly, and personable. Mara was our server. She was such a breath of fresh air when coming to her service. It's been a long time since we experienced this quality of customer service. The food was excellent. Very good taste and the portions are large. If your looking for a great place to have dinner, I would highly recommend checking this place out.
