Koutouki

This establishment has lost a lot of its quality from over a decade ago when this was the go to establishment for Greek food. I was disappointed to hear that the vast majority of their foods were pre soaked in garlic, onions and oils. This includes even the rice. I have read numerous other comments here that noted this is not fresh traditional Greek food. It seems to have become a short cut delivery restaurant. It's hard to believe why they'd take this route with another Greek restaurant right across the road. Also, I had asked if they could give my partner food without the added pre infused spices and oils. She was adamant that they could not. I don't often leave bad reviews but in this case I thought it would be beneficial for others to know.

What an excellent experience! The food was hot, fresh, and delicious. Our family ordered the platter, and they served an incredible amount and variety of food. The waitress was attentive and pleasant. There was a dancer that came around to the tables and was so sweet to entertain the kids in our party. 10/10 experience. We will be back! Kid-friendliness: They actually did not price gouge us and told us to order the platter for the 6 adults and let the kids eat off what we had ordered. There was plenty of food. The dancer was also so sweet in interacting with the kids. Dietary restrictions: They accommodated dairy free without issues.

Phenomenal! Still my favorite Greek restaurant, food was fresh, well presented and very well priced, the manager even bought dessert.

A group of us went to dinner at Koutouki a few weeks ago. The service was great and the food was amazing! My favorite was the calamari and the saganaki. My son loves the spanakopita from here. Will definitely be back again!

I went to this restaurant with 2 others. It was very empty and I am going to admit it causes me some concerns I wasn't sure what to think. We were greeted by a very friendly waiter! She went above and beyond for us all night! She was marvelous. The food was really good and I was thrilled with everything I ate. I thought everything was seasoned wonderfully and I enjoyed my evening immensely. We ended up staying until near closing time and the staff were patient with us as we figured out how to move about with one friend having mobility issues.

Amazing flavour and authentic taste. Takeout has additional 15% off and 5% off if you use cash to pay!! Overall the taste was good. Though the serving size is a bit small. I would come back again to try their lunch menu.

My family and I have been coming to Koutouki for years and as Greeks we haven’t found anything better in the city. The food is delicious and there isn’t one thing on the menu that we wouldn’t recommend. The staff is amazing and the owners truly care about the quality of the restaurant. I would urge anyone with suggestions, comments or concerns to go directly to the owners and they will take good care of you. This restaurant is an Edmonton gem and I hope it’s here forever.

While here with a larger group, one of the members of our group informed the server very clearly her allergies and food sensitivities. At which time, she was informed that would not be an issue and proceeded to take our order. When the food arrived, her plate had every food sensitivity and allergy she had identified. She politely brought the server's attention to it who then brought over what we had to assume was the manager. She listened again to the order and assured her she would be taken care of. Her dish of only potatos, zucchini and egg plant came by the time we had all finished. She rushed to finish without any complaints and then was presented with an astronomical bill that was not representative of what she ate or experienced. There had been a complete lack of regard for her allergies which was alarming and dangerous. She would have been willing to eat the items she was sensitive to even though it would have made her feel ill but she was unable to because they were mixed with the food that would have severely harmed her. When she attempted to rectify, they acknowledged they made an error but were resistant to making it right. They didn't even offer to cover her glass of wine. Eventually, as we proceeded to walk out the door after paying our bills, she said " if it will make you happy" and took $4 off the bill.

The food is authentic and undeniably delicious. The service is impeccable, so kind and professional. The atmosphere is just as culturally accurate as the food! Such a great place for a feastFood: 5/5

Took my mom last night for her birthday and we all loved koutoukis! We shared a bunch of appetizers which were fairly big portions and incredibly tasty. The atmosphere is amazing, it's very intimate and nice decor. The entertainment of the belly dancer was nice aswell as the Greek dancing which was an awesome experience. We will definitely be returning!
