RE 1of2; I personally frequent Uwajimaya near Overlake Hospital Bellevue Location as well as Uwajimaya Seattle that has bookstore to it. (Reading previous reviews after I myself recommended SouthGate Groceries to those I know; one should not turn a blind eye to one being bullied; I share my personal experience shopping at Southgate Groceries via this google review; My great experience shared here); So to note there are Korean Brand goods sold at Uwajimaya that is sold at SouthgateGroceries of Factoria Mall Tmobile Headquarter location. Both locally great shopping options; so no competition; it's about location of if one's nearer to Overlake Hospital; stop by Hmart Bellevue or Uwajimaya Bellevue. If at Bellevue College or at Tmobile Headquarter or at Factoria Mall; shopping available at Southgate Groceries. Simple. RE2of2;Speaking from my own AWESOME nine plus years experience frequenting SouthGate Groceries as my go to place each month to fill my fridge and kitchen cabinets. I am flabbergasted at the bad reviews as I found SouthGate Groceries as the best small family owned groceries option open to many cultures/ancestries/languages with its main focus on Korean Brands located in the USA as well as overseas purchasable with convenient stop by at Factoria Mall SouthGate Groceries. SouthgateGroceries for the past nine years have been a must on my list to go groceries shopping. In2017's recent change of ownership made me sad but the staff are the same kind hearted and great customer service oriented too! Given I have been going to this Jewel of SouthGate Groceries near Tmobile Headquarters across from Factoria Mall for a long time; if there's a mold then it's a proof showing freshness of its Organic Produce origin; should have told the kind bilingual hard at work multilingual/bilingual staff about it and bring it to attention of the mold as staff are understaffed at rush hours; It's the only go to place for PulMuOne Kimchi brand and convenience and fresh-delicious-nutritious-handmade sidedishes are unbeatable within the proximity of Bellevue College Factoria Mall Neighborhood. I two thumbs up gratefully recommend this SouthGateGroceries that have been feeding my family with its great groceries!

Forget Uwajimaya - this is my default market now. Prices are very reasonable, and if you don't care about the presentation, but are picky about value, this place may be for you. Sliced meats (frozen) are a bargain. Thick sliced, and tasty. Huge selection of Kimchee and overwhelming selection of packaged foods. Slim pickings but good selection of much needed produce in the back of the store. Best access is to approach from the south - Factoria Blvd is unforgiving.

Very friendly and helpful staff and good selection with great prices. Best Asian grocery in the Factoria / Eastgate area.
