Newly renovated. Clean and bright inside. This Safeway store was converted from a previous Alberson store. Some construction has been completed to make it look different, both interior design and exterior appearance. Several MOD food vendors are now added to the east end in the store, including sushi bar, pizza stand, sandwich, hot food, and deli. Together with cake shop, donut closest, bagle and bakery, it increases much grocery shopping value by adding this convenience. On the west wing, a Starbucks shop is also added with this renovation. How convenient! Outside the store, the parking lot used to be dirty and dark at night. With a row of LED street lamps installed, it is now much brighter. Parking spots are also redesigned. Space planning and usage seems much better than it was before.  Neighborhood stores in this plaza are fewer now, but every store has new look from outside, making the overall appearance more pleasant.

Average store with overpriced products, Starbucks located inside which is good and a fantastic lunch counter for oriental favorites. Deli roast beef was extremely dried out. they don't stock everything,  I have to drive further to get the brands I'm looking for.

High quality meat and produce. Cheaper than Wal Mart when you use the app. Staff is always friendly and helpful. The new sushi bar and pho additions have been surprisingly good.

This use to be an Albertsons but not it's a Safeway. I mean really, 99cents per lb of bananas? They use to be half that and milk over $4 a gallon? Pssst, wouldn't be going here no more.

The music is too loud and it's horrible. Three other customers I asked said the same thing.  No one can find the new manager. Some say he/she is hiding in that 2nd story loft they built in the front. For those with hearing aids it's even worse. A voice-activated cell phone gets messed up if you try to answer a call in the store because of that damn music and its volume.
