Southcentre Mall’s 50th Anniversary is a celebration you don’t want to miss! nnAs part of the festivities, they’ve set up a **retro roller skating rink** right in the mall!nn It’s such a fun and nostalgic experience—perfect for skaters of all ages. The atmosphere is electric, with classic tunes playing and a great vibe all around. Whether you’re here to skate, shop, or just soak in the nostalgia, there’s something for everyone.nnThe rink is a fantastic way to celebrate 50 years of memories at Southcentre Mall, and it’s clear they’ve put a lot of thought into making this anniversary special. If you’re in Calgary, definitely check it out! nFollow for more events through:n@Canadawithkids fb groupn#SouthcentreMall #50YearsStrong #RetroSkateFun
There are two prodigious enclosed malls accessible by CTrain in south east, Calgary.nAlthough both the malls have more or less same pricey and some economical stores, Southcentre Mall, near Anderson station, is more elegant, spacious, and attractive than its counterpart CF Chinook Centre, near Chinook station.nThe alluring, extra-large foyers are beautifully decorated, and there are several comfy sitting places. Also, there are a variety of small and huge kiosks that cater to various needs of people, all along the hallway.nThe mall supports the Calgary food bank, and there is a variety of arrestingly displayed models made of thousands of cans, on the ground floor. Each can provide the information that since 2006, this event has provided over 536,000 pounds of food to Calgarians who depend on the food bank.nKudos to the management for doing this exemplary, noble act of humanity.nI was amazed to see a colossal, well-organized Dollarama A dollar store in the aristocratic business center where various upscale, expensive, and branded stores do business. This means, Dollarama has gained so much popularity in recent years it can afford to open a store in the high-end mall.nMy wife and I visited this mall to buy some exercise equipment from Decathlon that is on the upper level near the sizeable food court. The pristine clean food court is large with a lot of well-known eatery outlets serving a variety of cuisines.nThe mall is pretty big, so it is advisable to park near the store you want to visit; particularly, if you have to carry lots of bags or some heavy items. Also, it is good to remember where you parked your vehicle, for the parking lot is enormous, and it is not easy to locate your vehicle.nAn immense, beautiful, and easy to access mall is worth visiting even if you do not intend to do any shopping.
I find this shopping center very pleasant. Parking is very easy to find, easy access and, above all, not crowded. It is extremely pleasant to walk through the corridors and there is quite a bit of variety. A very good variety of food establishments to end a day of shopping.
Love Southcentre Mall it’s always so clean and peaceful to shop during weekday mornings and afternoons. I also need to mention how much I appreciate the unique seasonal setups in the foyers every time I swing by their efforts are 10/10
Went and checked out the Indigenous Market at South Center. I definitely don't go as much as I would like. My beautiful mother was put on their advertising posters. Very cool, Congratulations.
