South Beach Resto + Lounge

Good service at a super location right on the beach. Our lunch " The Big Dirty Burger" was really awesome. Along with a couple cold beers .... Great place from which to enjoy the sights sun and sounds of beatuiful Wasaga Beach

Nice laid back bar. The fried pickle are amazing. The perfect snack to get when you drink a beer in front of the Goergian Bay.

Our visit was very disappointing. Yes, the view is great but that's about it. Service was slow and it took 20 minutes to get our beers while tables who arrived after us got served more quickly. Our server Maddie seemed about 15 years old, was sweet, but totally out of it even though the restaurant wasn't busy at all. The food was meh. People visiting Wasaga Beach have money to spend and when your top season is so short, you need to be more competitive.

We went her with our daughter yesterday for lunch and had a great experience. All the servers were beyond exceptional! My daughter is 3 and was being a bit difficult and they went out of their way to bring her things like chalk and a little ice slushy and take time to talk to her and make us feel relaxed. This makes a huge difference when you go out with small children. It also had a ramp, so we could easily roll our stoller up! Good choice for families to go during day! Food was pretty tasty too!!!!

This place was amazing. The staff was very welcoming. Food was fantastic try the mac and cheese bites and the big dirty if you can handle a monster burger. The head bartender was amazing and quick at getting drinks out even when the place was at capacity. Definitely check this place out

The view of the beach is good, however the upstairs should be open on nice days. They had live music when we were there and it was excellent. Overall volume of the patio is very loud. Service was quick and the staff were very friendly. Food was ok, nothing out of this world. I'll be honest and say the patio has a bit of a run down feel. Nothing that a few small touches wouldn't help. I would give it a 3.5 if I could. Not bad, by no means great. Staff and location pick up where other areas lack.

Not really impressed for a sit down place. The washrooms were disgusting. The price of okay ceasers was very high wish we would have known the price before . The service was slow, waitress disappeared for most of our meal. Had to keep asking for napkins.

Was honestly the worst service I have ever seen at a late night bar. Was with my boyfriends family that lives in Wasaga out on a night out in the town. The women bartender in back which I am pretty sure her name was Tammy brown hair told she was the manager only lady on bar in back. She was absolutely wasted you couldn't look any more drunk then she did. It was awful... When my boyfriend orderded drinks you told him you guys had no ice drinks were so warm. Which okay fine not a big deal but crappy. At that time the hammered bartender made his drinks wrong when you are paying $8 a drink you expect to at least get what you asked for. We waited 15 minutes for service. Pop completely flat. Clearly no co2 either or empty. When he told her to please remake them since they were warm & flat she was super ignorant. She gave him so much attitude, I've never seen anything so awful she remade the drinks set beside the other drinks & with a huge amount of attitude tells him to try the old ones again & hers to prove he was wrong..... Are you kidding me??? I was in shock, horrible customer service. Then I find out she's the manager. That's absolutely astonishing. Needless to say we left the four $8 drinks we just bought set them down & left with entire family. You need some serious change in choice of management.

Service was decent, but we were also the only ones there. Food on the other hand was terrible. They didn’t have half the items in the menu available, and what did come to the table was ok at best. The chicken was dry and tough, half of us got ultra crispy and greasy fries while the rest got undercooked fries. Pretty sad for food. Would not go back.

Was in here on the weekend. What can I say, although it was very busy the service was fantastic and we all had a fantastic time. Tammy I believe was her name was the best server we have ever had, drinks came fast and she was very attentive. Made us all feel very welcome. I had stopped going to Wasaga Beach a few years ago because it was just one bad experience after another. Tammy and the group at South Beach really changed that. Would highly recommend you check it out yourself!
