Four of us went to eat here and shared their mixed platter for four. The food, atmosphere and service was amazing and we are looking forward to a chance to come back again!! Highly recommend.
This is my 2nd time visiting Souq in the last 4 months this year and Souq didn’t disappoint me. The ambience is so middle eastern with colorful cushions, Arabic decor and lovely ambience. We ordered lentil soup, cheesy potatoes, tabouli and a mix platter which served 3-4 people. The overall order took 25-30 minutes and we got well presented food right off the stove. We loved the cheesy potatoes which was hot, gooey on top and crunchy on the bottom. The kebabs on the platter were juicy, succulent and paired deliciously well with the side of garlic and the fresh tabouli salad. The tabouli salad with parsley, tomatoes, mint, fresh onions, lemon juice and olive oil hit the spot. The quantities were huge and we ended up with 2 to go boxes. Souq also serves some delicious desserts but we were so full that we just skipped. We also saw lots of to go orders while we sat there so it was a dine in and delivery experience together. ——- Wraps and hummus - perfect Mediterranean dinner. The freshest, juiciest and most tender chicken in the wraps. In contrast, the crunchiest and most delicious French fries. The garlic dip on the side is such a drool worthy combo, goes astoundingly well with both the fries and the wrap. Now the hummus had the right bit of olive oil and made our appetizers so filling and hearty. Beware the quantities are massive, we ended up taking size-able to go boxes. Classy ambience, the place had a true authentic middle eastern vibe. Highly recommend, must visit and happy customers!
Taste wise 5/5; portion wise 3/5 & location wise 5/5. I wish if the size of a portion is a bit more. Nevertheless it pretty delicious and yummy. There is a decent sitting arrangement with clean rest rooms. I found the customer services great. There is also ample parking in front of the store.
One of the best places to have Lebanese cuisine. All of the dishes were mouthwateringly delicious and the waitress deserves 5 stars separately!
It was my second time coming here, and I gotta say everything meets up to my expectations. I recommend the cheese stuffed arayes and shawarma rice bowl with mixed meats. Never had anything like this before. I also tried their cinnamon tea, which I enjoyed while having my meals. The staff there was so nice, I would come back for more of their cheese stuffed arayes and try the other items on the menu. In the end, each dish felt so filling, leaving me satisfied with the taste of the foods and drink.
I ordered the Tenderloin Kabob Lunch Meal with Lentil Soup. To be fair I used Skip the dishes so I cannot comment on customer service it wouldn't be fair. This review pertains to the order itself. The kabob was good in taste but the portion was very small and only 3 pieces of meat were given See Attached Photo not sure if that's even a scewer. The rice was decent and a great portion was given. Lentil soup had too much black pepper in it, it overpowered the taste. Hope this helps the staff/customers make a change/decision.
Trying to check out some resto nearby and came across this place. First time to try their food and it doesn’t disappointment me and my tastebuds. Food taste excellent. Serving is big you can share it. And the server Noor was great, friendly and making me feel at home. A must try resto when you are in windsor. I will definetly will come back if i am in windsor.
Was told by our server to write an honest review: my order was NOT worth $33 and the beef had NO flavour. The amount of meat in this dish was not enough to fill a child’s hunger. Thirty three dollars? For this amount of meat? No. Absolutely not. The beef didn’t have taste, no seasoning. I’ve been to Lebanese food spots all over Ontario, this by far was the most disappointing. No hot sauce even? Yeah no. I could get more meat and flavour for cheaper at any other middle eastern place in Windsor and be full halfway through my meal. The price did not match the dish. Sorry, this was such a sad shock.
Tried for the first time tonight, outstanding service and food, it was absolutely delicious! You really need to eat here! The hummus is so good! Hidden gem in windsor for sure! Parking: Tons of parking!
Nice little restaurant here, looks smaller than it is, food were great, like the chickentender and soft, lots of favor>beeftender and steak ish taste>sausagenot my best favor in the 3-4 platters, naan/bread is fresh and delicious, looks like a semi instagram style restaurant, man’s washroom door lock is not working today, owner is pretty friendly and willing to learn other cultures to make everybody feels better.
