Shawarma Express

I was really craving a shawarma and my regular place was closed. I decided to try Shawarma Express and I will have to say I am quite disappointed. The shawarma was extremely greasy, and the chicken was full of fat and didnt taste fresh. They didnt have tomatoes, which I love on a shawarma, so that was a bummer. The place was clean and smelled great, the quality of the food could use some improvement though.

I got to say, I noticed a lot of mixed reviews on this place. That is concerning when it comes to consistency. I will say this was my first visit and I enjoyed it. The staff were great, even while it was a bit busy. I thought the food was very tasty and different. It was a pleasant change from the regulars. I ordered the new chicken caeser combo with a salad and drink. I paid $13.50. I'm new so I probably have the name of the combo wrong. I really enjoyed the salad, it had a really nice taste to it. Cleanliness needs to be paid more attention to, specially in the dining area. I did see an employee sweeping the area where he prepares the food but that needs to be set aside until the dining area has been checked. It was nice inside but some of the chairs had material coming off of them. Not good in a restaurant and not good for young children. I was very pleased with the food and I will be back to see if the consistency issue on the reviews are accurate. Thank you Shawarma Express for the nice lunch. UVbeenCridicked

Decent place, friendly staff and good food. I always go there to buy combos along with the chicken sandwich. They serve delicious rice and deep fried potatoes along with it. Really good Shearmas.

Terrible costumer services complained because we ordered 4 chicken shawarma with heavy sauce cause we like the sauce only to get no sauce at all asked to speak with the manager and was told he'd give me a call which was clearly Bs cause where 3 days later and nothing they quite obviously don't value their costumers very much won't be giving my bussiness to them anymore ill just go gyros and more

Place is very flashy from inside out , food is average . Price is little above average shawarma price . Taste is average and lacks flavours . Not impressed by quality and taste overall .

Had the shawarma plate and lentil soup with a pop for $22.... Ummm I caught a bad batch of hummus. Had that fungal taste when bread goes bad. Garlic sauce was good, shawarma meat was quality but too bland with not enough seasoning. Lentil soup was good, lentil rice barely had lentils. Not coming back unless I have no time & it’s on the way.... sticking with the wrap next time

Pretty good shawarma, the shawarma plate is $13.99 for any plate, except 2 that are $14.99 the portions are good, and filling. The main restaurant isn't open until 11, but the drive through is. The staff that took my order was very patient and friendly with me. I would recommend this place to anyone looking for a larger affordable takeout meal later in the evening.

This place used to be good. Fast fresh food. Today was awful. Waited over 15 minutes in drive thru with only two people ahead. Got to the window they had no idea what I ordered. They tried to offer me two other orders before I told him. He said diet Pepsi then handed me a regular coke. The lady put an unwrapped straw right in my drink with bare hands. I drive away and of course my sandwich is wrong. Shawarma with chicken and lettuce. No pickles No turnips no tomatoes and barely garlic sauce. Hardly toasted. What a joke. Not sure what happened to this place. This was the last straw for me.

Awesome place. Guy working here looks like the owner confirmed everything is Halal. Best Lentil Soup and Shawarma in Windsor so far.

I moved to London from Windsor a few years ago and haven’t had a good shawarma since. I was in town and decided to stop through the drive-thru on the way out of town. I forgot what I had been missing!!!!!!! For one, the customer service was incredible. The kind lady working the window instantly put a smile on my face. So sweet. The food…..oh man….that shawarma was fantastic!!!! Full with sauce and toppings. Couldn’t have asked for a better wrap. My only negative is now I am 2 hours away and having shawarma express cravings!!! Haha
