Soup Shanty

I’ve given this place multiple chances and it’s a shame because the food is good. Very unwelcoming the moment you walk in even over the phone. Every encounter I’ve had with an employee has been unpleasant including with the owner.

Soup Shanty isn't fancy, but it has consistently good food. I also really appreciate that they offer vegetarian/vegan/gluten free options. The soup offerings are the best but they also have good salads and sandwiches. 2/28/23 Update Still consistently good! Great lunch spot

Had the Beet soup with horseradish cream on top.. Excellent! Fries were just right along with the Three Grilled Cheese sandwich. It has bacon, tomato, and cheese. Place was clean and cozy. Service was excellent, served with a smile! Definitely be back! Vegetarian options: They had Dairy Free and Gluten Free options on the menu.

Mom has been telling me about this place. We finally went together!! Excellent food!! Very pleasant staff!! I will be going there again!!

What a nice find. Great outdoor seating, very friendly staff, and the food...excellent. I had the Buffalo chicken panini sandwich. Highly recommend it. Give these folks a shot, you'll like it.

Location / Atmosphere - Nice surprise didn't expect the atmosphere from the outside. Very clean and well managed. Came in early to grab a quick bit for lunch and get a little work done. Resurant filled up quickly and I felt bad tieing up a table. So myy visit was cut short. Food / Beverage - I had the Chili and 1/2 Bevarian sandwhich was perfectly done and a perfect size. Nice to see a resurant making 'home made' soups and sandwhiches. Enjoyed my stay. Service - Very friendly, pleasant and attentive service even with the Valentines day crowd. In summary - A very nice place. Hope to re-visit the next time that I'm in the area.

One of the best restaurants I've ever been too in my life! I move a lot for work and NY, Chicago, San Francisco, Detroit as well as small cities. This is in the #1 tier, possibly #1 PERIOD. I can't think of a restaurant where their food was this good! Very high quality ingredients, everything freshly made, it was so damn hot!! Lol that's the way food should he when you order it!
