Great salad and daily lunch deals. The sorrento salad is delicious and extremely generous with portion sizes. Enjoyed the mini pizzas and lots of seating options. Would highly recommend!
Came here as McPhillips is only open for lunch on Fridays. The food was pretty much the same ..... only noticeable difference was at the McPhillips location, they have a spicy Italian salad dressing with is better than the Italian dressing at this location. Waitress thinks they make their own in-house, maybe. The waitress was very attentive. The last comment is I think their lunch special is more expensive than the north end ..... still an excellent value.
This was our first time eating in at Sorrento's. We were quickly greeted and seated at our table. We noticed right away though that the restaurant was incredibly cold. We each had on shorts and tank tops definitely not the right attire for the temperature inside.nnWe waited to see if the air conditioning would slow but unfortunately it did not. We are not ones to complain but my daughter was shaking at the table. I mentioned the temperature to the server who replied with, it's always this way so I wear a sweater and said that she could not turn down the air conditioning. We sucked it up and made the best of it placing my daughter between the adults to keep warm.nnWhile we were sitting there awaiting our meal an older couple came in and mentioned the temperature too. She was told the same thing lucky for her she had a blanket in her car and she went out to get that.nnWe ordered our dinner. It arrived hot, fresh and tasty. However, it was really hard to enjoy our food in the cold temperature. We ate quickly and left.nnWe still plan to order from Sorrento's in the future because the food is fantastic but we will not dine in again at least not during the summer time.nnFood - nRestaurant-
The food and waiter were terrific! Being greeted upon entry was slow and front staff were lost and confused. After not being greeted or addressed I walked through the entire resteraunt looking for where the group I was meeting may have been seated. Still, no one asked if they could help me. I found it very peculiar. When I arrived back to the host/hostess perch there was a young man who was helpful once I approach him. All the ladies there last night need more training-they seemed new and uncertain what they were doing and/or what should be happening. Only sharing because first impressions are important and in some cases customers could walk out and go elsewhere. Once again, once seated the waiter was fabulous - an absolute delight. White Out pizza...loved it!
I understand that the price of everything is rising. But there is a definite difference in the price, SIZE, and quality of their salads. I got a spinich side salad. Usually fine as a meal. It was not a meal. The bread sticks were good. No butter.
