Ordered Pizza which was contaminated with small pebbles, rocks, and other debris. Appears to be material used for slippery surfaces. Feeling a bit off called poison support line. The material in question might have antifreeze or soduim Chloride. Both can be life threatening in a large dose. Keeping the box just in case if anyone in our household get seriously ill. The box was picked up by Pizza Hotline employee to investigate the incident further.
Was told 10 minutes for pickup, showed up after 10 minutes and was told there would be a 4 minute wait. I waited for over 30 minutes. 15 people minimum were waiting in the front while at least 10 people in the kitchen were filling delivery order after delivery order. Barely anyone got a pizza in the whole time I was there. Beyond angry. Terrible customer service. Couldn't even cancel my order in person, had to call a number. Angry. In the waiting area there was a lady who said she was waiting for over 2 hours. She left and came back and was still waiting. Terrible wait for mediocre pizza. Will be reporting to Better Business Bureau.
Just witnessed the most unsanitary, disgusting video of a gentlemen bringing back a pizza he’d picked up, and realized after leaving that he was given someone else’s order by mistake. He than returned to the store with the incorrect pizza, and when the staff manager on shift took back said pizza, she put it back on the line to be resold/sent to a new customer after it had already left the store and was returned. When the individual that returned the pizza noticed this, he commented and the manager and another staff member became verbally abusive towards him, kicking him out of the store without even providing a refund for the pizza he’d ordered. This is absolutely appalling, Manitoba Public Health will be contacted on Monday by multiple individuals who also witnessed this video but I felt others who may not have seen it should be aware of how little this restaurant does to consider its customers safety and not violate major health and safety violations; in addition to how terrible they treat their PAYING customers when they are called out on their mistakes. DISGUSTING!
Disappointing Customer ServicennI had a very disappointing experience at Canadian Pizza Hotline -McPhillips Street in Winnipeg.nnI walked in and politely asked if they offer halal pizza options. The staff member responded by saying, “We do not serve halal stuff, I am Canadian Pizza Hotline,” in a dismissive and disrespectful tone.nnI completely understand that not all restaurants serve halal food, and that is not the issue. The problem was how the response was delivered. The comment felt insensitive and unnecessary, especially in a diverse city like Winnipeg.nnA simple and respectful answer would have been enough. Customer service should be professional and inclusive, regardless of someone’s dietary or religious needs.nnI hope management addresses this and provides better training to staff.
There's not much room to dine in, but it's a pretty convenient place for pick-up. Just keep in mind that you can't park in front of it during certain hours.
