Freshest sushi in town. Poke appetizer was delicious. Soon and her staff are wonderful! BBQ eel is amazing and very large portions! Thanks for a fabulous dining experience!

I have gone there numerous times in the past. The sushi is always fresh and delicious. The atmosphere and the decor sadly leave a lot to be desired. I welcome change on a menu in a restaurant but if I'm not mistaken the the menu has changed at least twice this year, unfortunately for the worse.
This visit was quite disappointing. It was the second time bringing my friend there and I have to confess that each time I walk in there it makes me question the cleanliness of the kitchen judging by the surroundings in the dining room . After ordering cocktails and appetizers upon arrival all of the sushi rolls seem to look exactly alike. Ugh...The row and crab toppings that apparently used in one way or another was on each sushi roll (out of "6 rolls") was super salty and ruined the experience, nonsense. I made mention of it to the server as well as Soon's husband and there was no discount or option to redo the rolls. 😒
Hated the change! It seemed like there was no variety. In the past I have gotten some beautiful trays, gorgeous elaborate rolls, well worth the money . Admittedly all I could keep thinking was that the sushi rolls at Woodman's would have been a much better option. In retrospect, there was A LOT of tempura incorporated in the roll menu which is a cheap way out, maybe hoping that the novice might not catch that right away .With tip we dropped $145.00😒😒
On the upside the server, Monica, was super nice and very accommodating throughout our meal, I recommend her highly... Give the place to try and you be the judge.

Excellent sushi! Good service. Charming conversation with the owner. Go for the excellent food and service. Decor and ambience best described as blue collar. Will definitely go back.

Who would think that in the middle of a quiet neighborhood in Kenosha, you would have sushi that as good as any you can find in Chicago. Big slabs of the freshest fish, perfect rice, creative rolls. It is also a bargain. We go 40 minutes to eat there whenever we can. The decor is not too impressive but who cares.

Today was the first time I've been there. My sister and her husband treated us to a great experience! If you have never tried sushi or shashimi and are looking to try it, this is the place to go. If you a regular sushi and shashimi fan this will be right up your alley! They also have a great selection of Japanese and Korean food on the menu. The place has been around for 15 years and is a well kept secret. I will be back again!👍👍👍👍
