Solo Liquor Bonaventure

Absolutely the worst "customer service". EVERY time I've been to this store the staff including the very old skinny bald white man are extremely rude and never say thank you or anything. I went in tonight and the younger tall thin brown man that was on the cash register didn't even make eye contact with me once. He was on a phone call on his ear buds the entire time and didn't say a word to me the whole time. Also, the store usually smells like sewer. I guess this would be an ideal place for kids under 18 to go because they would never get caught by the lackluster staff. #notgoingback.

This is a rasist place! Stay away.!! I just went there with my daughter 17 years old,the cashier he looks like 15 years old asked me my ID. I asked my daughter to wait me outside and showed him my ID. Although I am 37 years old he didn’t look at my ID and told me that he cannot sell any alcohol to me. I asked him why and all I heard from him he can not sell. Without saying sorry or checking my Id!! I am still asking why!!!! 1. I am 37 years old 2. I have an ID and showed him He refused to look!!!!!! 3.I am buying for my self 4.I couldn’t find any reason other than racisizm!!! He heard us when we enter the store speaking another language other than english that’s why he didn’t sell and treat me like I am against to law or doing something wrong. I will complain about him. I don’t think even he has licence to sell alcohol. Because he is a rudekid who looks like 15 years old!!! I asked him his name and he didn’t tell me. He is blonde kid. Very bad customer service,no respect.!!!!! Three time a week my husband buys beer from them but no more!

The rudest liquor store I have ever been too. Every clerk has attitude and makes sure your experience is uncomfortable and unfriendly every time. Not sure if they are racist or sexist, or maybe both!

This older white man doing the cashsier is very rude its like he doesnt want you to buy here so he makes you feel unwelcome. I have no ideal what his problem is but i think he is just another rasict that doesnt like his job. Its better just to go to the other store near chicken on the way.

very rude staff totally embarrassed me tonight when i went in there the old white man was very prejudice towards me and he wouldn't even let me buy my drinks and told me to please leave just cause I asked him to put so much on my card and I'll pay the rest in cash, he said "because it wont connect, please just leave" like i was being threatening when really i was just confused, he didn't even ask the white lady for her i.d and I'm 29 years old, he was being prejudice how did he even get the job? go across Macleod trail way better staff and prices, this place is a rip off! best believe I'll be reporting them! and boycotting there store

Rude staff and poor selection. Upon entering I greeted the cashier who said nothing to me, only stared at me while I walked to the beer fridge. Their bourbon selection left much to be desired and the shelves seemed slightly empty like they could accommodate more product. At least they had decent prices. Also the huge 'Open til 12am' sign on the front is misleading as they aren't open til midnight every night.

felt very uncomfortable in here but I don’t know why. The owner told me as I was leaving that I had better keep my receipt? Don’t know what he meant but put me on edge during an otherwise normal liquor run.

Great prices and you can occasionally find obscure wines at this location that you don't find at other solo locations. Prices tend to be a touch higher than other solo locations aswell, I usually make the trip here for wine when I'm looking for something specific, or something new and affordable

Always rude staff. Never go here anymore, just go to the one across the street, as they don't make you feel incredibly uncomfortable the entire time.

Decent prices for now but they keep raising them, I blame Notley! Update: I now don't shop here now that Insta-Liquor is open at Acadia and Southland....Cheaper
